Cook's Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, Water Treatment and Electrical

We had an issue with my AC and called around for assistance. With Cook's we received immediate service for a fair price. I found the office staff incredibly helpful, and the service technician thorough. My issue was resolved within an hour. Will definitely call again for future HVAC, Plumbing, or AC service needs.

What do you do when you move to the watershed capital of Ontario, have your sump pump fail during a deluge, are told by a recommended" plumber that we should just "call around" to find someone because "we're all busy." Well

Cook's put in my new furnace, but I went to check on what type of filter was in it, I found it was quite a dirty filter. Being upset, I called Cooks and they brought me 2 clean filters for my furnace. I quite appreciated that they did that for me.

After numerous calls to my regular service plumber and no reply back for 3 days (we waited for a call back out of sense of loyalty) we decided to call Cooks. We were having issues with our water heater. No hot water. My call was answered with respect and concern and I was able to secure an appointment for that day between 10 am and 12 noon. The Cooks Service Technician arrived shortly after 11 am, I was pleasantly surprised.Dylan Cook was the technician and he went about his work with a very professional and calm demeanour. The work was completed in under 2 hrs (a blown bottom element) and the work was all described and explained with care. Very professional and well done work was completed and our family was very happy once again. Thank you Dylan and thank you Cooks for coming through for us!

It's seems it never rains but it pours". We had our heating system completely upgraded by Cooks and were very pleased with the resulting service. Not long after however; our well infrastructure failed. Our house is 62 years old and although likely worked on in the last 25 years; we still had a "jet pump" inside and a well buried deep in the ground. Luke correctly diagnosed the problem as a corrosion leak in a pick up-delivery pipe causing the pump to lose prime and could not hold any efforts to reprise it. Today Cook's technicians arrived promptly and over the course of a long day they added a well casing to ground level

We had our sewer start to back up into our basement on a Sunday evening. Called Cooks first thing Monday morning and spoke to Stacie, who was so calm, reassuring and professional, she looked after everything for us and told us John would be at our place in 1.5 hours. He arrived and worked very hard to fix the problem. When I went in to pay the invoice the lady I dealt with (sorry I did not get your name) was very friendly and on top of everything, the whole experience dealing with your company was great. We have recently had a new heat pump installed in our home. The Cook's team excelled in all areas. Luke was very knowledgeable when first contacted about various products available. The quote was clear and acceptable.The installers knew their trade well and very professional while in our home. The installation time was as estimated and a complete clean up when done was appreciated.We use have always had good experiences with Cook's for all our plumbing and heating needs. We'd highly recommend their services.

Our 30 year old geothermal system failed a week before Christmas. I arranged a service call, but thinking that a new system was due, I dropped in, unannounced, at Cook's office to talk about a replacement. Luke found time for me and impressed me with his knowledge, describing my options. Sure enough, the old unit was not worth repairing. Cook's estimate was much better than the competition. Luke replied to my email questions on some of the technical details and my concerns about sizing, etc. . They scheduled two days for installation. It was completed in one day. This, even though a new circuit board was needed (faulty on delivery). They worked overtime and a colleague drove down with a replacement. They tidied up and swept the basement cleaner than when they arrived ;-)The whole crew and office staff was courteous, knowledgeable and professional.

Called for help to run about 5 feet of pipe and hook up a propane stove. Was told that I’d basically have to buy the appliance from them to get it installed but that someone would call me back. Never received a call so I called them. They decided they were not going to provide me with any service. I understand that things are crazy right now but I would say ‘Don’t just call Cook’s’, unless you’re seeking disappointment. We’re planning to build a home on our vacant acreage in the next couple of years, too bad they burned the bridge.

We are very satisfied with the service we received on our wood stove installation. Right from the beginning Luke was patient and took the time help us locate the correct stove. Chris and the team problem solved our chimney issues and resolved concerns in a fair and timely manner. We are very satisfied with the service And work done.
