Turkish Kebab House

My friend and I enjoyed our dinner here. All the dishes came quickly and most were delicious (the only major critique was that the pide needed way more salt). Our server was really kind and had great attention to detail. She took her time arranging the plates on the table so everything fit well and we could dine comfortably ❤️The restaurant was very busy but we were lucky to find a table for 2 right away. We did see a wait list for bigger parties so be prepared for that on weekends.

The place was packed but luckily, we were seated immediately.The service was excellent & the food came super fast.When you first sit, they serve you 2 kinds of dips with fresh bread, all was delicious.I ordered the followingHummus (it was good)Nurdagi salad (loved it)Mixes grill for 2. The portion is generous.We ended our meal with Baklava which unfortunately was stale. Tea was good, Turkish coffee was OK.Overall it was a nice experience. If I go again I will pick specific plates I won't go for the mixed grill.

Amazing food, great portions and friendly staff. The service is great. Even when it’s busy they still make sure you’re getting the best service. They bring 2 of their starters on the house and we also ordered the eggplant in tomato, they all tasted so good!! We got the Cacik salad and it came in a great portion and very fresh. For the main dish, We ordered Adana kebab, and it was very tasty, the meat tasted very good and the portion was enough for 2 people.

The flavors were exquisite and the dishes were prepared to perfection. However, the prices were a bit on the higher side, but given the current inflation, it's understandable. Despite the higher prices, I would still highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Turkish dining experience. The ambience of the restaurant was also very pleasant, with attentive service from the staff.I would suggest they make their own Ayran rather than the bottled ones like many Turkish restaurants do in Toronto. Overall, a great addition to the culinary scene in town!

Ottawa has always lacked in proper Turkish cuisine and TKH has come to the scene at the right time. This is the best Turkish food I've tasted in Canada. The place is modern and chic and the service is extremely friendly and accommodating.I found the prices to be reasonable in comparison to the quantities but more importantly, you're paying for the quality which you are most certainly getting with the food here.The rice pudding is out of this world and I highly recommend it! Cannot wait to go back.

Update: Dine in finally.OMG. So good. We order something in chicken, lamb, and one from specialty menu in beef.They serve us with bread and two dipping sauce and I had to keep reminding both of my kids to leave some room for the main dish. Even complementary bread was that good.Food portion is large and we got lots of leftover, and I am excited that we have second round of great food for single visit.I need to move to Turkey. I don't know anything about Turkish food, but if they eat this everyday in Turkey, I want to go there.I drive by this new restaurant every day and we decided to try it out. This review may not be fair for the restaurant, because we ordered a take out and the food was 30 min cold.I didn't know what to order, so I went with their suggestions. Dinner for 2 and some oven baked pizza bread.(sorry, I don't remember the names)Our family of 4 managed to finish half of what we got, and every single item (different types of meat) were delicious. The garlic sauce was amazing, and the red stuff (tomato and something) was so refreshing and delicious.I can't wait to dine in.

Best place to have a Turkish food in Ottawa. Delicious food with nice portions. If you go there on weekends be aware that you might wait up to 30 minutes to get seated. Very nice staff. Parking available
