Aqua i Laser

I went to Dr.Gdih as a result of a referral from my local eye Dr. Dr. Gdih performed refractive lens exchange on my eyes and i couldn't believe the difference. Both my distance and reading are perfect and i couldn't be happier.Aqua i laser is a very professional place and Dr Gdih is very well respected in this field.Overall i'm very happy with my eyes and Dr Gdih. The best part of this surgery other than my fantastic eye sight at age 53 is the fact that because of the surgery i will never have to have cataract surgery in the future.

Terrible service, no bedside manner. My mum went in for her procedure and while I can't speak for the experience with her initial check up, she was not happy. Nothing was explained, and when she phoned back to ask about the related risks, people were curt. The front desk was giving out diagnosis that wasn't part of the documents given to her. Note the documents mentioned people / the doctor had explained risks - they were not.Went back in for the actual procedure - apparently the doctor was frustrated with her questions. When she came back out to me in the waiting area, there was no follow up appointment, no explanation of what to expect following the procedure. We had to Google what the common after effects are. She is now back in urgent care as her left eye got worse.I understand this is all covered by Manitoba Health but good lord, you people are dealing with patient's health and vision.

Excellent staff. Was referred as an emergency client from a walk in clinic that diagnosed me with pink eye on 2 visits, on the 3rd they referred me to them. Was seated in waiting room for 5 minutes and was glad to find out that I had metal in my eye. They had it out within minutes and eye is feeling great. Thanks guys even if I joked around I appreciate what you did.

REFRACTIVE LENS EXCHANGE. YOU NEED TO READ THIS!!I wish I had done this sooner!Superb experience through the entire process. For years I have had the highest power contact lens I could find. I also had astigmatism in both eyes. My optometrist recommended I see Dr Gdih and I'm so glad I did. Exceptionally professional. The procedure was virtually painless. My surgery took place around 430pm. By 830pm I had 20/20 vision with no contacts or glasses! The very next day (a Sunday) Dr Gdih called me personally to see how I was doing and told me my vision would get even better! Not only did my vision get even better, even colors are more vivid! I cannot recommend both this procedure or Dr Gdih enough. This is a life changing procedure. At my two week check up, when the assistant did a quick vision check on me she asked me to read the letter on the screen. I read each row of letters, smaller and smaller until she was done. I had to ask her if there were any smaller letters I could read. I went though three more rows! When I read three letters out of the tiniest row they had, she had to walk right up to the wall to see if I was correct!

A few years ago, I joined my twin sister for a free consultation with Dr. Gdih at Aqua i Laser. He told me that it would be a significant life improvement for someone with my prescription strength, but I was still nervous. My sister had the procedure done, and after seeing her freedom from glasses and contacts, I decided to get the procedure myself. Dr. Gdih was very reassuring, patient, and answered all of my questions before, during, and after the surgery. The procedure was relatively quick and painless, the recovery was almost uneventful, and for the couple of small issues that I had, Dr. Gdih resolved them quickly. Ten years ago I had Lasik Surgery and was very thrilled to have my sight restored and say farewell to my glasses. Fast forward one decade and now there are newer, safer methods available. My daughter recently underwent vision correction at Aqua i Laser by Dr. Gdih. This a no touch, no flap, painless procedure which only takes 1-2 minutes. I accompanied her throughout the consultation, procedure and follow up appointments. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism of the entire staff. Dr. Gdih has a gentle demeanour and is very passionate about his profession. If you are considering laser eye surgery, this is the state of the art clinic to visit. We are blessed to have Dr. Gdih practice in our midst.

I had Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE) performed by Dr. Gdih last year! I can't express enough how satisfied I am with the result of the surgery and with all the care I received from Dr. Gdih and his team! I highly recommend this office and surgical team!

Dr Gdih Gdih and the staff at Aqua i Laser in Winnipeg are fantastic. I was told by other facilities that I could not have the refractive lens exchange procedure and I didn't qualify for Lasix so I would have to wait until I was at least 50 yrs old. I considered traveling to another province or even to the US or Mexico but then I found Dr. Gdih who felt I was a great candidate for the procedure. I am so happy to be able to now lead a more active lifestyle free of glasses and contacts. Being able to wake up each day and.see clearly has been such a life changing gift.

Aqua I laser will take your appointment but will have you wait at minimum 1 - 1.5 hours when you arrive on time for your “appointment”. You may as well just come an hour after your appointment time that they give you. Every time. Patients crammed in the waiting room. No parking. Slow or no diagnosis. Poorly done cataract surgery. Continuing issues.

Staff is wonderful and doctors are easy to work with and very helpful. The worst of this place is the timing and new location. Whatever your appointment time, be prepared to wait at least another hour and the most frustrating is the new building has the WORST parking. There is next to none in the front, hardly any in back, otherwise you're expected to go to the church parking lot across the street which is a pain in the winter. They are worth the pain though.
