Ocean Sound Kayaking
My kayak trip with Ocean Sound Kayaking was a fantastic adventure. Steve personalized the trip right from the booking and you could tell that Haida Gwaii is very special to him and enjoys the opportunity to share it with others. Despite running into some inclement weather for a couple days, I never felt unsafe, trapped or uncomfortable and I think Steve's professionalism, knowledge and calm had a lot to do with that. Not to be outdone, the scenery, wildlife viewing opportunities and culture of the area are truly amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to take another trip with OSK or recommend them to my friends and family.

Ocean Sound Kayaking
My son and I reserved space for this coming July and put deposits down in February. Some unexpected things arose for us personally, including a medical issue, which we shared a few weeks ahead of the deadline for the remaining payments. Steve was very understanding and changed our spots to “available” in hopes others would fill When these got booked - he even refunded our deposits!!! Incredible integrity!!! We are keen to book for 2024!! Thank you Steve!!!

Ocean Sound Kayaking
Ocean Sound Kayaking provided our group of 8 friends with an exceptional kayak experience to see and feel Hadaii Gwaii. From the first day on the water through day eight, I was delighted by all of the scenic beauty, wildlife, and birds. Owner Steve K knows where all of the best beaches are for camping and I enjoyed sunsets, sunrises and starry skies from my tent. I would highly recommend OSK for visiting Hadaii Gwaii by kayak.

it was one of a kind from day one ,,all you would dream and them some ,, the views from land and ocean ,, the history of the people the kayaking was safe and fun with each day bring new ,discovery,,the creatures great and small ,and the aaaa of the trees,, mountains ,, ocean,, l truly enjoyed the company of the group, The native history ,, ,, ,,you will be forever changed ,,,,you will NOT be disappointed the moment you land the plane , A new world will unfold . and the food was outstanding ,lol

Ocean Sound Kayaking
Kayaking in Haida Gwalior with Ocean Sounds Kayaking was incredible; a trip of a lifetime. Steve and Finn are exceptional guides. Steve’s knowledge of the area - tides, hidden beaches and everything Haida Gwaii, made me feel safe and assured as we paddled along. Finn is a natural resource whizz. He knew birds, whales, and all other creatures. He is also a great camp cook, adding fresh caught salmon to a few of our meals. If your are exploring your options for a kayaking trip to Haida Gwaii, I highly recommend OSK, plus they are a Canadian company and this is the only place they lead tours.
