Prices were decent, so I placed an order for delivery, which says I’ll get a call in 1-2 days to arrange delivery. Busy time I’m sure so I planned ahead. Day 3 I tried to call…after 5 minutes holding and ringing back, I was hung up on…4 Times! I don’t expect delivery right away, but if you claim you’ll call to arrange, CALL at least…

Used to be one of my go-to stores but it's near impossible to get help in there now. I've been in twice trying to buy lighting and needed help. No one is in the department, pressing the red help me" button leads to a generic announcement and still no help. Left again without a light. Don't even know why I bother going back to be honest."

What a great experience today for my first ever visit to this location (Barrie, ON)! Shout outs to Ron for his excellent customer service skills. He greeted me in the aisles and offered assistance which I gladly accepted. He was knowledgeable about the products I needed, he asked me questions to qualify just exactly the type I needed and he also had the ability to carry-on a conversation relative to using and how to service the tool as well. Not to mention, my first item (a heavy air compressor), he proactively picked up and put in my cart! These attributes are all but nonexistent in big box stores. It was so refreshing and satisfying to experience service like this. I think the last time I left a Lowe’s, Home Depot or Home Hardware feeling like a valued customer was in the early 90’s when big box stores arrived in Canada. Ron also referred me by name to another individual in a different department who was also courteous, helpful and even walked me to the location of the next item I was enquiring about. His name was Paul.Overall, as I walked through the store all the employees I passed by seemed to like their jobs and were happy and enthusiastic to be there right down to the self-serve checkout attendant. Brilliant and kudos to Lowe’s Barrie for, in my opinion, being #1 in customer satisfaction.PS - I never write reviews until today because this Lowe’s deserves to hear the feedback and receive the recognition!

Can be hit and miss. Great selection. Overall. Good prices. Sometimes it's hard to find staff to assist you. I bought a lot of things over the years as I've renovated two homes extensively using products bought from the store and Ialso did a kitchen remodel with them as well overall staff were good to deal with that. I was able to get the products within the required amount of time even during the pandemic and supply chain issues

Izzy ensured my item was delivered by the end of the day.I was truly amazed how he took the ownership to take care of my issue and also lived up to his commitment.Thank you Izzy! Understandably, I know that tinted paint is not returnable. Tinted paint as to the stain chosen on a sample board. When I asked, if this colour I chose can be adjusted to match my fence color. The answer was negative without even attempting to look. An expensive stain near $ 80.00 that nothing could be done with except to throw away. This is ensuring that the customer is satisfied?Home hardware does everything they possibly can to match up a paint colour!

If you're looking for a job, apply here because apparently they are in desperate need of staff. I wanted to buy a ceiling fan, but couldn't find any one to help me. I checked all the aisles but no employee in sight. I finally went to customer service to ask for help, and a few minutes later a guy in a safety vest approached me, and asked what he could help with. I asked him if he knew anything about ceiling fans, and he said a little" I told him what I was looking for
