Midland-Ellesmere X-Ray and Ultrasound & Cardiac Testing

I arrived at the clinic for a walk-in appointment on a Saturday morning just as they opened. I was greeted warmly by the receptionist. I was asked to take a seat until the X-ray technician was ready. I changed and proceeded into the X-ray room. I was treated both professionally and compassionately.I was in and out within half an hour. Thank you kindly to your lovely staff. Well done indeed.

I would give them no stars if it it was possible. One of the worst ultrasound clinics. When I came for the anatomical ultrasound the technician told me not to talk and go lie down on the table. Refusing to answer any questions I had. My OBGYN had requested to let me know of the gender, however she refused at the end of the appointment. The second time was the 32 weeks ultrasound. I was referred here, the day of the appointment I couldn’t get out of bed for a while due to a very bad leg cramp but got to my appointment exactly on time. The building has no parking spaces and the elevator took so long to arrive to the first floor (I couldn’t walk properly or else I would have taken the stairs). The receptionist was extremely rude in the way she talked and then refused to take me in after explaining my situation and why I was a bit late. If you have any other options, avoid this place at all costs.

Midland and Ellesmere Ultrasound exceeded my expectations. They have ample parking spaces, including underground. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made me feel at ease. The environment was spacious, clean, and modern. I felt like I was in a comfortable and safe space, which is so important when it comes to medical appointments. I highly recommend their services.

Here I went for my 30 weeks pregnancy ultrasound when I went there the receptionist sitting in front of the elevator told me to wear mask. I told her can you please provide me. She told me “ I don’t have any mask you go downstairs and purchase your own” I stay there for 1 minute but didn’t say anything as she was talking to other staff then again she looked at my face and said” I don’t have any mask” that was really rude. I can understand that they can not provide mask to all patients but she should understand my situation that I am 30 weeks pregnant. I really don’t her behaviour.

It's not always possible to appreciate great businesses unless you have experienced the good and bad in that category.I've been to many imaging facilities across the city and this is one of the best I had an appointment with.To get to this clinic I had to travel further out of my way (after a previous clinic wouldn't accept an emailed requisition even though I had an appointment - they did without any questions here at Midland-Ellesmere X-ray/US right when I checked in).Booking staff was friendly and helpful on the phone and via email.Access to the clinic is easy and straightforward (I've driven and taken TTC - it's close to the RT and bus stops). The building is new and clean. There is ample parking (above ground and underground), easy access from street level and the parking garage.The reception staff is professional and communicates well. The waiting area is not cramped: other facilities (even during the pandemic) due to their design put you in close proximity to other customers even with spacing measures" in place and are too close for comfort otherwise.Wait times were minimal and I had my appointments on time. The technicians were nice

I would give them negative stars. They don't care about young people whose family has a history of cancer. They just use an excuse of being too young. CANCER HAS NO AGE LIMIT!!!! So if you are young and have lumps forget getting a mammogram here, they will just tell you that your family never had cancer

Incompetent staff answer the phone. Something simple like booking an appointment you get told to come 'around' the time. Dumbest thing I've ever encountered. Do I have an appointment at a particular time or not? Then they have the nerve to give attitude when you question it. Here's what you need to say: Your appointment is at 9:30am. Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment to check in."Edited to add: Thanks for responding but being frustrated due to lack of clarity doesn't mean anyone is being rude or abusive. Everything about my experience at Midland-Ellesmere X-Ray and Ultrasound was wonderful. I was able to get an appointment for an ultrasound within a week and was able to get x-rays done at the same time. I arrived a little early and was in and out in no time (about 10 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start). The staff was very kind and professional.

Very very rude staff, looks like they are already earning alot and they don’t care about there patients anymore, especially the lady at the reception, looks like she is having some trouble at home with her family. She should get her checked by a Psychiatrist. She should learn how to treat a pregnant lady.Update: This is review is for your clinic. This is a good place for Ultra Sound for Pregnancy, especially. The Sonographers have good knowledge and amicable. We have been there sometimes and recommend to ask for referral to your Gynaecologist at this place.The reception by the front desk is good. Ample space to sit and wait, watching TV. The washrooms are really neat and hygienic.All the very best of health.
