It's a shame that I have to write a negative review for this store because I've been going to this store for several years now. However, the store is currently under new management.I've had a very frustrating experience. I purchased material from the store and asked for it to be stitched for a wedding event. The owner misplaced the material twice and did not bother to sew my outfit for when it was required. I paid the full amount in advance (material + tailor cost). The owner was not giving me a receipt at the time of purchase saying it was not necessary, as-if it was based on an honour system" that she would remember that I've paid in full. But

One of the outfits I bought from her was a 3 piece dress and when I went to pick it up, she only had 2 piece. When I asked where is the pants she said I assumed you would wear tights because it's a long dress. When I asked for money back because the agreement was for three piece dress I was told NO, I will make you the pants. And the dress was so long that it was dragging on the floor like a brides veil. She is over 1 hour drive from my place, not a care in the world that I traveled so far to come. She could have told me before coming so I could have saved 2 hours in travel time and gas. If she would have told me I would have not traveled so far to come back empty-handed. When I complained about the dress being too long she offered me $20 back to get it shortened from somewhere else... She charges $75 for sewing and had the nerve to offer me $20 back. And while I was speaking to her she closed the door in my face. She kept asking me to do a review for her and this is why I'm doing the review so people know. Prices are way too high and no respect for her customers and their time. And she took the full order money when placing the order. You're supposed to give half the money when you order and the remainder when you pick up. I paid her $630 for dresses and I really feel I got ripped off especially when I told my friends and family what happened. Never going back!! Lesson well learned!!

I've been a loyal Oriental Costumes customer for years, and I recently got my toddler daughter an outfit from here as well! Oriental has such a great selection of styles, colours, and sizes, and at such competitive prices too! My daughter looked adorable in her little red and gold lehenga- and I always love everything that I buy here for myself :) don't miss Oriental when you're shopping for Desi clothes in Mississauga! You'll definitely find something you love!

I had an excellent experience at Oriental costume. I had to do some last minute Eid shopping and this place full filled my needs completely. Will definitely be going back for future shopping.

Under new management of Rana and Safia, we had a very very good experience of hospitality, efficiency and service to our needs.Anyone looking for some desi experience with less hassle and good quality should visit this store.Keep up the good work Rana!!!

If i could i would give more stars. The owner really cares about her clients. Went above and beyond for one of my orders. Gave me personal number to stay in touch with my specifically and was always kind and understanding. Felt like she was from my own family. If you need someone who truly cares about your needs, this place is the one for you

Rana is a very good lady. I wish her best to take care of this business, besides this she should educate her staff on customer service. I got a chance to see mehru worst lady ever busy counting $$$ doesn’t even care about customer their respect, making false commitment she is making with them. Yes you don’t care mehru make videos take pictures do what ever you want for more bucks but you can’t learn to educate yourself to give customers respect. If you will be in GCC trust me Arab women might have slapped you as many times to take out her frustration for what you have done with me. Somewhere you will pay for it.
