A couple of weeks ago I broke my bicycle frame on the right side rear axle mount. The frame is at least 20 years old and has had a tremendous amount of heavy usage. I brought it into Kenico to see it could be Tig welded without loosing any strength. 6 hours later they called me back and told me it was done. They did an excellent job re-attaching and aligning the axle mount exactly where it broke off. After a week of driving the rutted and potholed streets of Calgary the repair is still holding up. If it lasts 15 more years it will be the best hundred bucks I've ever spent.Jan. 2022. It's now been about 6 years and the weld is holding up great.
