Good customer service and friendly people BUT my 6mo old Champion generator came back missing at least 6 parts. 2 fuel tank bolts. 2 spark arrestor screws, the spark arrestor itself, 1 screw that holds some small thingy, an RF interferance supressor thing I think. They had replaced the recoil starter cord for no reason whatsoever. The factory cord frayed and broke so I replaced it with MUCH STRONGER parachute cord. Action Engines took that off and replaced it with a skinny vinyl cord...why? After running only two hours since I picked it up last Friday, it now has an oil leak near the carb and cyl head. Did they forget the carb gasket too? It's going straight back on Monday.

We've taken our generators to Action Engine for 8 years. They've looked after 2-3 different generators in different vehicles at our agency and they've always done a great job. The work is always on time, fast and done well. They're also really great people and nice to everyone who brings in the vehicles.

We had one of our motors go down on our paint booth and Kevin and his Action Engines team bent over backwards to get us back up and running! The service was Incredible. Not to mention that this happened on a SUNDAY!!!! Very few companies would have gone this above and beyond, but these guys did it with a smile on their face! I would highly recommend Action Engines! Action Engine did a great job getting my Generac 30 amp Homelink transfer switch model #6852, working. The switch was incorrectly wired straight from Generac and didn't come with a detailed wiring diagram. While In the process of figuring it out, (with little help from Generac Customer Service) a mechanical piece broke. I had to wait 3 weeks for Generac to ship the replacement part to Alberta from the U.S. Once in the hands of Action Engine, they professionally installed the replacement part and had the system up and running in minutes.I would totally recommend Action Engine to my family and friends.Cheers

After seeing the other reviews I'm surprised by the lack of communication by Action Engine.It's been 2 1/2 months and our lawnmower has still not been fixed. Knowing that the time we dropped our machine off would be during their busy months and that a part had to be ordered, I waited 3 weeks to place a follow up call to Action Engine. I was told the parts would be in the following week, 2 weeks at the most and that we'd have our mower back the week after (that's a total of 6 weeks).I've not heard from them since. Not great customer service if you ask me. A quick follow up call to let us know that they were still waiting on the part would have been nice.We are just back from a few week's vacation and I'm about to call them again. The inconvenience and embarrassment of having to ask our neighbours to borrow their mowers outweighs the cost of paying for the repair.I'm sadly disappointed.
