Very nice place many different levels for beginners & experts. I suggest you start slowly & work your way up. You can get hurt if you start at a higher level & without experience

Great success, I sent a V0 and much more.. The staff is chill and friendly, they even cheered me on. The price is fair, would recommend cheering me on if you see me, thank you for reading.

A modern climbing gym !The gym is accessible from Montreal with the subway to Montmorency station and a small walk to warm up (or bus if it’s too cold outside)The gym was clean (and it’s not easy with all the chalk), the staff friendly and the climbing was fun.The training area had all the equipment you would wish for. Adjustable kilter and tension board is sooo coolThe gym is pretty big and the walls aren’t packed with holds which make it really to visualise your climb and not be afraid to bump into other. The route setting was really fun, I had a great time with challenges at all grades. The music was a tiny bit loud in the changing room but I did not stay there long ^^Le Crux Lava is a climbing gym I would really recommend to anyone.

Le Crux climbing Gym is a must-visit spot for climbers in Laval, Qc. Clean and inviting atmosphere, this gym provides an exceptional workout experience. With challenging exercises and a great ambiance, it’s an ideal addition to any fitness regimen. Moreover, Le Crux offers a second location in Boisbriand, which is perfect for families as it is kid-friendly (10 and up) and features a larger gym space. Whether you’re a seasoned climber or new to the sport, Le Crux has it all - from a welcoming environment to fantastic facilities - making it a top choice for climbers.

Ridiculous kid policy. We were visiting from out west. Kids have been climbing for years. Kids under 16 not allowed here unless accompanied by a parent, which is fine, except the parent can’t climb with the kids (can only watch), and the parent is charged to enter the gym to watch. There is no mention of this crazy policy from what I saw on the website. So the anticipated climbing session with my 15 year old was a disappointment as I was only allowed to watch. He ended climbing alone as i went to do a workout in the training area. I really don't understand the concept of this policy. I've been to many climbing gyms, and we are members at one - without exceptions, kids are always welcome, and there are no restrictions whatsoever. Will obviously not be coming back here, nor will our climbing friends.UPDATE: I just saw the response by the owner to another critique of the pay to watch" policy
