I see a lot of complaints about all sorts of fees, like utilities, parking. As compared to midtown and downtown, this place is much more affordable even with $200+ utilities and ~$50 YMCA gym. Btw, why pay $1000+/mth to own a car when you have subway trains right by the door. Secondly, delivery services are convenient these days and I just pick them up at the lobby, and they won't cost $1000+/mo. The facilities are awesome. And if you can, get the corner unit as they are quiet and bigger. You get what you pay for.

We are living here for the past three months, and i tell you that almost all previous review are lies! Fire alarms are going on and off during pre-delivery construction. Now 2 years has passed and we dont hear them testing it at all. No weed smell, nice neighbours and very well kept building and security in place 24/h.

For those who said this place is good and rated 5stars. They shd be landlord and seems no one interested to rent here.Beautiful cover but poor inside.false fire alarm attack yr mental health at midnight and morning20% rent increase after a year of worst living experience

Definitely a great condo. Management and security are very responsible and communicative. Units are spacious and very well decorated. Balconies are huge. We love it. Barbecue and party rooms are a bonus. I really enjoy living here.

I went to go do my Uber groceries at number 5 buttermill building and the security at the front desk was very rude and saying that how I can not bring the up the groceries for the customer. I come here many time and they always let me bring it up for the customer and the sign say only food is not allow to bring it up. If you guy’s do not want me to bring it up than why is there no sign about groceries is not allow to bring up. If you guy’s do not want me to bring it up than there should be a sign saying that I have to put it on the table . And it was very rude for the security to yell at me.

I lived here for 8 months now. Those complains are definitly true... BUT the managers definitely made noticable attempt to address those issues.They send email and post notices about a week or so prior of any fire alarm test now. They said security mesures are taken to prevent any malicious attempt to set off fire alarms which seems to be the case, because they are triggered wayy less then before. Best to get some money ready, the rent is not cheap, average is about 2000+ plus utilities and gym(YMCA has special offer for residents nearby), but so does anywhere else thesedays. One thing I should mention is the elevator display never works so you can only tell which floor it is until the door opens, and there is relatively frequent maintaince(generator test and such) which can be a pain if you live at 60th floor.

WORST condo to live in. Alarms go off like crazy, all hours of the day and night. Condo was poorly made, almost everything breaks after a week despite being a new"condo. Unit does not come with a parking spot

Fire alarms happen almost bi-weekly very early in the morning without any prior notice. The fire alarms are straight above your head in every-room and are deafening. And the parking garage is security is terrible, my parking space in on one of the higher floors and my car’s tire was stolen. When the security was questioned they said that the car was in a blind spot and that they’ll discuss it with the parking garage department. But they have not yet taken action toward the fact that my tire was stolen off of my car in a LOCKED parking garage.

I lived in 5 buttermill ave for a year. It was a frustrating experience tbh. If you require parking, you will not get underground parking. We were on the waitlist for a year and never got a spot. There's surface parking and expect to pay $250+ for that. No storage option. There's ongoing fire alarm testing at random times of the day; expect to be woken up randomly. Within a year, the condo was falling apart, cracks in doors, etc. If you park in the front and you're not that specific brown Mercedes, they give you tickets right away. No visitors parking. Concierge is nice but overlooks your entry instructions and sends random people up. Theres a constant smell of smoking and weed in the units. Hydro is expensive. Views are great, though! It is at a convenient location right off the highway. After a few months we couldn't wait to move!

This condo should be nickname “the fire alarm condo”! Literally every day they feel like. Sometimes I wonder if they can’t just send emails instead of the public announcement thing (wakes babies up from sleep)The security or concierge seems like they are unhappy working or angry at everyone and themselves!Elevator oh no another drama u better be up 1hr early to wait for the elevatorThis place won't make you feel at home at all!You MUST pick your food from downstairs/concierge even if you are sick or working from homeAdvantage: great location for people who commute via public transit.
