Shine Bright Dental Burnaby

Shine Bright Dental was very thorough during my dental exam. Everybody was professional and made me feel comfortable. Great job team!

Shine Bright Dental has 2 locations - one in South Vancouver and one in Burnaby near Kingsway. I think their main one is the Burnaby one, which is a new location that they moved into. I highly recommend Dr. Cheung. He was patient and listened to my problems about my teeth, which had been a mystery for two prior general dentists in my neighborhood (one was very close in location to me and the second one was my mom's). Dr.Cheung's location is a little far for me, but now I realized it is worth the drive to have a good dentist really look into my problem and assess carefully. My previous dentist (mom's dentist) was so awful and unprofessional. Dr.Cheung is the complete opposite, he was very professional, caring, and wanted to find the root of the problem. He referred me to a specialist in Oral Medicine to look further into the details.Back in 2012 or 2013, I had a root canal with Dr. Cheung when my tooth cracked at a restaurant that served me an improperly cooked meal (I'm looking at you, Earl's Restaurant). Long story short, a different dentist could not fix it, and Dr. Cheung fixed it with a root canal and it had zero problems and still has zero problems to this day.Fast forward to 2021, I had 2 root canals + 2 fillings done by 2 other dentists and it just came with a host of problems. If only I had just gone to Dr.Cheung in the first place instead of picking random dentists who were close to my home location." He comes from a family of dentists so their knowledge runs deep within the scope of dentistry. He also respects your thoughts as well if they run outside the 'norm' of conventional treatment. Very clean dental clinic, staff are friendly and professional. Hygienist Sandra did a very thorough job yet gentle; and made the cleaning experience much more pleasure compared to my past experiences with hygienists at other clinics.

Really enjoying my experience so far with Shine Bright. First time I came in I was pretty nervous, but Dr. Cheung was able to talk me through everything he was doing and that really helped settle my nerves. Second visit for more filings was a breeze after that. Both front desk ladies I've talked to are really sweet, the office is very clean, and both visits have been SO quick. Very impressed :)

Dr. Cheung is the best dentist. His knowledge and skills are top notched. He extracted two wisdom teeth for me. The procedure was so quick and painless. He is also friendly and kind. I have bad anxiety issues and he is so understanding and caring. Everyone at Shine Bright Dental are nice and friendly too. I highly recommend Shine Bright Dental. I’m a new patient and I found out about Shine Bright Dental while looking for a dentist through my school insurance plan. I’m really happy I chose this business because they provide excellent service. All the staff from the receptionist to the dental hygienists are very friendly and professional. The office is nice and clean and I feel safe here in regard to COVID. Dr. Cheung does amazing work and you can tell he really cares about each one of his patients. As a student, I don’t have much money and Dr. Cheung is so understanding and flexible. I truly appreciate the work he does. I can’t recommend this place enough and I will most definitely be a loyal patient to Shine Bright Dental

I highly recommend this dental clinic. I've seen how they truly care for their patients.
