I highly recommend John - ask for him when you’re making an appointment. He is friendly, talkative, and highly skilled. He did my acrylic fill this weekend and the quality was fantastic: his technique is even, tidy, and he makes the nails the perfect thickness (most techs will really lay on the bead and make them too thick). Thank you, John!

Today was my first time at this salon and I will most definitely be going back. I've been to a number of nail salons and Lan's salon is, by far, the cleanest I've ever seen. I booked with Nina and she was amazing! To top my visit off, I was offered a mimosa and treat to enjoy while I had my pedicure. I'd give it a 10 star if I could!

I used to love Lans and come here all the time. Unfortunately, I have been really disappointed recently. The past few times I have come I have booked an appointment but upon arrival I have had to wait up to 45 minutes. This time I specifically called for an appointment at 12:00 and said I needed to be out by 2:00. I waited almost an hour and left the salon at 2:15 so I was late for my next appointment. My pedicure was rushed and despite telling them multiple times that I needed to be out of the salon I was still waiting around a long time. I usually don’t leave these reviews but I’m really disappointed because I used to love this salon. I hope that they actually start writing down appointments so they can keep track of them and return to the excellent service they used to give.

Service was terrible. My nails were not dry before they said i could go and therefore they smudged. This was by far the worse nail salon I've been to in kingston. Very inexperienced staff providing services. Not impressed. Will definitely not return there. To answer your question @ lan nails and spa it was a young man. Unsure of his name. I visited the this evening. Further more to my visit. There was no cream or moisturizer, cuticle oil applied to either my hands or feet or any massage. It was definitely not worth the 86 dollars i paid today.

Soo I took my daughter here plenty of times, she loved Huy. He moved to Toronto we were told, so we figured we would try someone new. We went in for a full set less then three weeks ago! 5 nails fell off, and a few others were lifting when we went in today! We got another girl (with the girl who did them last time sitting next to her) she made my daughters nails way to short! The glue was and still is sticking to her finger. When we asked if she could fix that, she gave attitude. She also gave attitude after we asked if we could change the nail colour after painting only 2 fingers!! Because the colour we originally chose went with the longer nails, not the shorter nails and again, gave attitude. The very small design my daughter wanted looks nothing like the picture she provided. I am beyond annoyed with this Service. We now have to go somewhere else to fix that girls problem, so costing more money!! Lan is a very nice woman but those two girls (the one who did my daughter nails the last time and the girl who did them this time) are just horrible with no heart and enjoy talking about their clients in a language we couldn’t understand. Horrible experience, just horrible!!! I nor my daughter will EVER return! And I will NOT be recommending this place to anyone!! Do better!!!!!!

This was a wonderful experience! The staff was friendly and welcoming! The space is beautiful and calming, and the service was outstanding. Highly recommend!

I’m from out of town, and I was just visiting family for Christmas when I attended the salon. I used to live here but never got my nails done so I was unsure of the best location. I chose this one due to the large amount of amazing online reviews, and was not disappointed!! I was greeted at the door coming in with a very kind encounter. There was an adorable girl walking around offering chocolates and refreshments which I also thought was a nice addition you don’t see often at nail salons. The woman who did my nails (I didn’t catch her name, but I think it may have been Mia) clearly took her time doing her job and spent a lot of time on making sure the length was perfect and the design was well done. I really appreciate good service in busy places like this and it didn’t go unnoticed! Definitely visit if you get a chance. :)

Received a shellac manicure on Saturday, 2 nails are already chipped. I noticed when I got home from having it done there are pitted spots on many of the nails. The polish (a bright pink) is so thin that 3 coats was not enough. It's still transparent on several nails. The salon itself was beautiful and seemed clean but I wouldn't recommend.

Asked for white coffin shaped acrylics with a white glitter accent nail and a pedicure with white polish. Booked with Lan but when I got there Lan wasn’t there so I had to see another girl.- not enough coats of polish (white was very, very patchy)- gave me silver instead of white glitter- nails are square not coffin- received no nail treatment prior to applying the acrylics so the edges around my cuticles are horrendously uneven- got cut on multiple fingers from the girl not watching while buffing my nails-the tips of my nails were filed slanted so the acrylic piece was exposed and she didn’t go back over it with polish???- also got an infection on my toe because the girl tore off a hangnailNeedless to say I will not be going back as I do not think that this kind of service is anywhere close to worth $130.
