A very small quaint restaurant that sets an atmosphere of being in Italy. It has the menu to match. Very friendly staff and owner. Food portions are exactly the size needed as the quality of the food is exceptional. Had doubts before visiting. The experience absolutely confirmed the rave reviews this restaurant has been receiving.Recommend making reservations or you will be disappointed in trying to walk in.They have limited alcoholic drinks, so if you want something other than wine and beer, you may want to plan before attending and bringing your own if you have the need.Rear restaurant patio will be open in good weather for a more enjoyable experience. Let’s see if grapevines adjourn the walls etc.Absolutely worth a visit and return.

Wonderful place! Service, atmosphere and food was fabulous. My thick piece of black cod was cooked to perfection and the green pea soup was so fresh. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the fresh pasta and wild boar. Lisa the owner served us and she was very friendly. Her and her husband are eager to please and very proud as they should be. It was a great choice for our 30th wedding anniversary, we'll be back.

The food was excellent from start to finish. I had the special (shrimps) and the fish (well cooked with delicious sides). My husband had the chicken Marsala and said it was delicious. Friendly staff. No pictures this time. Definitely going back to that restaurant.

A charming & elegant little spot in the heart of Colborne, Ontario. This homey trattoria deserves all the praise when it comes to showcasing their Italian heritage, while still infusing international flavours and using fresh local ingredients.My wife and I had the wonderful opportunity to enjoy a visit, in between our travel to Toronto from Ottawa. We made reservations online and were able to book for a 6 pm opening on a Sunday evening (Highly recommend making reservations online to ensure seating).Lisa and her husband (the owners) are the definite heart and soul of this place. We are greeted by Lisa's warm welcome, and felt right at home, as we received more sweet smiles and positive affirmations from the local regular guests dining that evening. We also had the honour of speaking with the brain and hands of this operation, Chef Chelsea, who suggested the amazing specials that we had the pleasure to enjoy during our dinner. Service & Atmosphere a perfect score, 5 out of 5.We tried 3 different appetizers: an order of their fresh Burrata with broccolini and a honey pepper glaze, their special grilled jumbo black shrimp with white bean puree, and their special ribs with ragu polenta. All the dishes definitely held their end of the bargain. Only suggestion would be maybe having a side of that honey pepper sauce for the Burrata and bread, since it was so good. For our main dishes, my wife had the chicken marsala and I had their special beef pasta. Just as the appetizers, these dishes did not disappoint and filled our bellies with all things wonderful. We topped of the night with a lemon creme brulee to share since we were too full for any other dishes. Food: a whopping 5 out of 5.Overall, an unforgettable 5 star experience and will definitely come back for another visit when we're in this part of town again.

It was a great delight to be there with special friends. I would highly recommend it. The antipasto was flavourful, the mains were outstanding and the reception was incredibly genuine. Speaking Italian with the chef took me back to my wonderful Italian home. You will not be disappointed. Take your time and savour each moment. I'd go back.

Excellent meal. The best I have had in a long time. Great Italian & Local ingredients melded together for some fantastic dishes. The people were fabulous, great atmosphere. Definitely will be returning again.

What a delightful spot! We came on a Friday evening in early December. A reservation is probably a good idea as there is limited seating. Our server Meagan was super friendly and efficient. Food portions were very generous. Everything was delicious, made with fresh ingredients in house, served piping hot. Desserts are made in house too. There is a limited wine list but with a good variety of price - something for every budget. This place is brand new and will quickly be the best place in town. Get here quick!

TERRIFIC food, lovely space, and doing things the right way. You would be thrilled to find this quality of food at these prices in your local bistro in downtown Toronto -- superb preparation and fantastic flavors. Lisa was a friendly, and attentive but in-obtrusive host. My husband and I were lucky enough to score a table on opening night. Lisa and her team provided a wonderful dining experience and we look forward to going back again and again!The atmosphere was lively, the decor is beautiful, and the food was incredible.We ordered the cheese board, burrata, chicken parm, and mushroom marsala. The portions are very generous - we didn't even have enough room for dessert! Next time!Congratulation on bringing this gem to life, Lisa. Pomona is going to put our little town of Colborne on the map!

Had the privilege to go to Pomona on Valentines Day. Deserving of more then 5 stars. As soon as you step inside, the wonderful smell of the kitchen hits you. Meagan, our server, was fantastic. The food was top tier, My wife had the Chicken Marsala with Oyster / CreminiMushrooms, roasted potatoes, andvegetables. I had the Baked Ricotta/Spinach Crespelle (Manicotti style) with Tomato Sauce. Chef Chelsea you far exceeded our expectations. Every single bite was incredibly flavourful.Lisa, what a gem you have brought to Colborne.I strongly suggest you try Pomona. You will not be disappointed.
