Great staff, they took the time to interact with and show a 2yr old tabby to my daughter (also 2) and teach her how to properly play with a fish toy on a string. Made my daughter's day.

Dropped my TCR fosters, & they were so accommodating with the 3 of them. Even told me over the phone when 1 got adopted. (I called though) awesome staff and they even told me about the TCR discount which came in handy in that given moment! :) thanks again guys! :)Feat. Dex who got adopted out of this store! Service is fantastic. Friendly staff, knowledgeable and eager to help. Good inventory. They have a little bit of everything. They even carry a specific bedding my guinea pig loves. And it's always nice to visit Kiro, the house kitty at Pet Valu.

I went this store yesterday. At the checkout the cashier didn’t give me a receipt and she told me this item is not refundable. My dog had surgery and he able to take off his cone. The vet told me to get a donut pillow for him. We got XL, that is the right size for our dog but he was still able to lick his wound. This morning he bite the donut pillow and made it unusable. I paid for this item 55$ and couldn’t even use it for a full day. Obviously I am very upset right now because I can’t even get my money back!

Couldn't ask more from a furry family member store. Great selection and very clean. Darling staff that will take the time to help with or explain anything you may need, you can quickly tell they care about your pets as much as they would their own.

The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a decent selection of cat and dog food/items in all price ranges. The is curbside pickup available. The entrance is wheelchair accessible. They take debit or credit. There is plenty of parking. They are open during the Covid19 crisis and allowing 2 people in the store at a time.

Great store and Victoria is a great manager. All the staff are super friendly and always help me get stuff done and are always nice. They definitely should get paid a lot more for all their hard work

I have been a loyal customer since 2014 (when I was still living in another province) and always loved the service, the deals and the fact that this store carries so many good brands. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find my cat's favourite food anymore, although it shows in the website. It clearly says that it's available, and that the cases with 24 cans are only available for shipped orders. Great, that's what I want. However, when I choose this option, it says I can't proceed because the product is not available for shipping. What the heck? I then choose pick up" and same thing happens. So why is the product even showing in the website??? This has been happening consistently for the past months. Before that I was able to buy this same flavour and brand online with no problem. This was my last try... fix your website/inventory and you wanna keep your customers."
