Gateway Church Prince George

HOME-that is what it feels like to be a part of the Gateway family. Everyone is so welcoming and helpful. There also is on-line church if you would rather be at home relaxing - and an on-line team to chat with. We always start our service with worship so we can step away for the noise of the world and then a message that one of our amazing Pastors will have to encourage us.

This is a friendly welcoming church. Worship is awesome and so are the Pastors and their team.

I have been going to this church for more than 30 years. We have had our ups and downs in the past but who hasn't in this journey of life. The staff is phenomenal. Their heart and passion for God and people are outstanding. They are working hard and seeking God on how to reach the lost, and help in this crazy time we are living in. They have an amazing children's ministry that is crazy fun but full of a desire to see children starting at a very young age to hear Gods voice and live a life for Jesus. They have a rock climbing wall, activity tables, great worship and personal times with leaders to connect and ask questions. They have taken the covid protocols very seriously to provide a safe environment for all. I love the worship. It ushers me into a heavenly place.

I went to Gateway 20 some odd years ago and was disappointed. I didn't feel like I belonged or was really welcomed. However, I started going back about 3 years ago, and have gotten involved and EURICA!!! I've been embraced, welcomed and love my church now. It's a great place to go! One of the biggest things I appreciate is that it is a big family, and ALL are welcome. There are street people right up to wealthy people; white, native, black and every colour in between, and they are all welcomed in the same way. You don't have to fill a cookie cutter mold...just come and be yourself!

In my two years of attending Gateway I have not only found Jesus, but I have found family. I have been to other churches in town and I have never felt as welcome as Gateway! The live worship is incredible and this church has the most amazing kids church! My kids BEG to go church every week. We love Gateway :)

At first I thought it was going well, but after the service started, things went downhill drastically.During the worship service multiple people shouted things, quoted word-for-word, Yes Daddy!" etc.A couple sitting behind me were emitting such a strong smell of alcohol that I could barely stand to stay for the service.The entire event felt like a goofy concert with no respect to God and all praise diverted to the worship team.Definitely will not return
