Campbell's Cove Campground

Great place to stay ! We had beautiful site tucked back in the corner, but it still had an ocean view. The beach had white sands and clear water. The water is fairly rocky but my kids love that ! The bathrooms and showers were clean. All well maintained. The owners daughter was amazing ! She's so friendly and caring. All other staff were exceptional as well. $8 for fire wood-got a lot of wood and includes kindling.

Amazing campground! The best one of all I went during a one-month trip in the Maritimes. The view from the tent sites is amazing. The beach is just here. The facilities are great, with a shelter/ cooking space. They are doing recycling and composting and give the appropriate bags to guests (thanks!). The staff is nice and funny. And they do have ice cream. That's paradise! The wifi is terrible, but we don't need it in paradise.

Great campground! Some wear starting to show on the picnic tables and bathrooms. Not a lot of privacy. But the views and location to a beautiful and private sandy beach are well worth it!

Friendly crew and awesome service! Beautiful place to relax by the ocean. Perfect location by the beach to camp then do your tourist visit along the east coast drive. The price of the cabins are very reasonable or go tenting. Enjoyed exploring their campground, thank you so much for everything.

Wonderful little camping. Owners and staff are genuinely nice and welcoming people. Magnificent sea views, quaint little beach, clean amenities, beautiful camping overall! 10/10 would visit again :)

Firstly, the pros: the campground is beautiful and located right on the cliff side with views of the ocean. The beach is easily accessible and gorgeous. If the sky’s are clear, you have a beautiful sunset.However, the one negative was a pretty big one for us, and the reason why this review lost the 1 star.We requested an unserviced site, and we were given a site that literally had a path to the beach in the middle of it.This meant that throughout our entire stay, strangers were passing through our campsite to go to and from the beach! We had absolutely no privacy and it wasn’t very enjoyable!The beach and grounds are beautiful and the staff are friendly. However, if you visit, make sure you aren’t given the site with the path in the middle. Otherwise, it was very nice and worth the price!

Not a bad campground. It has a beautiful view, right on the ocean, but the sites do not offer any privacy. The young gentleman at the office was very nice. Nice hot showers and the bathrooms were kept clean.

My family and I ( wife and two kids under 12 ) stayed here for 3 days while travelling the island.We made our travel plans ahead of time via telephone and the staff were exceptionally friendly and informative.Upon arrival ( we arrived on a Sunday afternoon) there was a slight mix up with our reservations but it was quickly taken care of and we were given an adequate site for our 35 foot trailer.We are from Ontario and one aspect is be sure to account for island time. Nothing is opened past 5 or 6 and many things are closed on Sundays ( liquor store )The pricing as reasonable for full hook up.The beach was amazing red sand and ocean views from all campsite. The campground could make use of putting more garbage bins around the beach and play ground. We noticed there was a lot of garbage mixed in with the sand. While it's unfortunate that people litter , perhaps adding more garbage disposal and having staff pick up garbage on a daily basis would allow for less of this to occur.Family is very friendly father and daughter team who stay on site and are always available.There are few amenities . Basic toilets and shower If needed. We didn't use them nut always check out facilities in the event we have to / curiosity . They were kept clean.There was a common picnic shelter that had paints and games available for the kids.There was a washer and dryer. I was constantly competing and coming into conflict with one staff member who was attempting to do laundry that day. She was aware I was trying to do a load and in my opinion should have allowed guests to do laundry first.But she kept doing several loads which led me to have to keep checking around 5 to 10 tines to see if the machines were free.Overall the view is fantastic. The owners are amazingly friendly and accommodating. The sites are well spaced. Park was good for the kids and kept them entertained.The beach was long and big dunes. We would highly recommend this campsite and see ourselves returning in the future.

Very quiet. A very old campground that could use a bit of a sprucing up. It is far from most of the sightseeing things to do in PEI. Staff is helpful. Nice view over the water if you don't require all services (W, E, S). Heavy RVs may need to add pads under there stabilizers so that they don't sink in the soil.

Great little place! Very friendly staff, clean bathrooms and a beautiful view. Great for a weekend camping site, Thank you for the pleasant experience!
