My daughter has been coming here for dance classes for almost 2 years. This year she is in the Junior Competitive Program. My daughter loves coming here and learning new moves and skills every week. The teachers are amazing which shows on the performance of the little ones. Working towards learning the choreographies for the year-end performance is an exciting growing opportunity for the kids and also a good learning experience where they can slowly build up their confidence and skills and get better every week. My daughter was also part of the After School Club for a while and she loved all the art work they were doing there. I highly recommend this place!

We have been with Leslieville School of Dance and Music for years now and have done everything from Preschool, to dance classes, to summer camps, to competitive dance. Kristen and her team do everything possible to make all experiences fun while also developing individual skills. The teachers are wonderful, the communication is amazing and the kids love it here. It feels like a community where we've made many friends. Such a well-run studio.

My daughter has been going to Leslieville School of Dance & Music since she was 3. She is now 8 and we have seen her grow so much through the last 5 years. Kristen Dennis leads her team with passion, integrity, safe and an inclusive environment. The teachers are incredible leaders and truly care about each student with wonderful compassion. I would recommend this school to any child that wants to dance whether it be recreational or competitive.

What a wonderful school of dance, small business, and more! We have been enjoying LSOD since before the pandemic. Our 5yo and 7yo go to dance classes (ballet and hip hop), and have also attended birthday parties and summer camps in this space (these are wonderful!).The owners, Kristen and Corey, are intimately involved (this is not a hands off business) and very kind. They really care. They have surrounded themselves by dance and music teachers that they know for many years, and they treat them well, and it is reflected in the quality of the classes and the love and care embodied by each or the teachers (we have had Jen, Julie, Maddy, Haruka, Kelsey, Christina, and more, they are great!).There is a wonderful end of year dance performance and great community among the parents.The space is open and inclusive and gender affirming, just speak with the owner and you will be heard.

LSDM is one of my favourite places to be, the teachers are so supportive and kind. All of the classes are so much fun especially when we get to learn new steps! I 100% recommend this studio for anyone and everyone looking to start or continue dancing. This studio has given me so many opportunities to further my dance education in the competitive program with amazing teachers as well as getting chances to assist dance classes for younger children. There honestly is not enough words to describe how much I love dancing and working at LSDM!

My daughter has been lucky enough to spend a lot of time at LSDM. She has absolutely adored her teachers, which is not surprising because everyone is kind, warm and clearly dedicated to fostering an imaginative, fun, respectful learning community. Over the years I've seen Kristen and crew go above and beyond to maintain a bright, clean, professional, and safe space for everyone who walks through the doors. I've especially appreciated their diligence in doing everything they can to keep all the students safe during Covid. A real gem in the community that I can't recommend highly enough!

We have been with Leslieville school of dance for years now and both my kids love it! I danced as a child and I'm aware of how harsh the dance world can be but the teachers here offer such support, encouragement and have helped build confidence in my kids while also offering quality instruction. I feel very much part of a community here and look forward to watching my kids grow in this space.

My daughter has been dancing with Leslieville School of Dance and Music for 7 years now, and it has been an amazing experience. The instructors are caring, professional, organized and talented, and I have seen my daughter grow as a person and develop as a dancer under their guidance. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone looking to get their child involved in dance. Also, if you are interested as an adult in exploring dance, or in rekindling a passion from your own childhood, this school also offers adult classes. I took intermediate adult ballet with Larissa and found it to be a great workout with a supportive community vibe. You won’t regret it!

My two daughters have been attending Leslieville School of Dance & Music for close to 7 years now and it has been an absolute joy to watch them grow into confident dancers, surrounded by a supportive community of teachers and peers. Year after year, we have continued to be amazed with the high quality of instructors, all of whom have been professional, caring, devoted and talented and have nurtured and encouraged a love of dance and performance. LSDM offers a safe, fun and encouraging atmosphere at a beautiful and clean studio space. I highly recommend LSDM!

My two daughters have been dancing with the Leslieville School of Dance for over 10 years. Witnessing what Kristen Dennis and her team have built over these years is something of a marvel. The care, talent and dedication that goes into all aspects of the organization are at the highest level. The teachers are professional, kind hearted and devoted. The facilities are beautifully designed and meticulously maintained. My eldest daughter, who is a member of the school’s new competitive program feels as though the school is a secondary family to her. It gives her a sense of community, mastery and confidence. Not only does she attend classes 3 days per week, she now works as an assistant at the school and the camps, deepening her connection to the school. I cannot recommend the Leslieville School of Dance highly enough for top level artistic programming.
