Saffron Kabab Restaurant
Hands down one of the best restaurants in Ottawa! The food and service is consistently excellent! We usually order the saffron sultan family and it definitely feeds a family of 6!!! I definitely recommend Saffron to anyone and we've come to both location over 6 times now! ☺️

We were family of 6 so we ordered the Saffron family platter. It was way more than enough for us and we got 2 siding plates (forgot what its called :) those were also nice. The food was a bit late but its probably because the family platter takes more time. We advice to call before you come to prepare for you the food if you're ordering family platter. We will definitely visit them again.

Food was excellent, Black tea was so yummy. Only 4 stars for atmosphere as there wasn't a lot of air circulation and the restaurant had a lot of smoke, it hurts our eyes. Lots of people go in for takeout.

Stumbled across this place near my hotel and went in based on the reviews here. What a find.... incredible food, friendly staff and just a nice vibe. Had the delicious soup (lentil?) and shared hummus, Shiraz salad and Saffron Special mix of three kebabs with Persian rice topped with Saffron. It was all just exquisite. 100% recommended!

UPDATE————What can i say, the table turned!The owner reached out and invited us again to make up for it.The hospitality and the gesture was above and beyond.And the food…. No question asked! Have to be the best Persian food we had in Ottawa.Retracting our initial post and wish them best of luck. Will definitely come back!————————————————————-Absolute WORST customer service!We have booked the place for 8 people at 7pm. Five minutes before our arrival they called to cancel the reservation because they forgot someone else booked 3 days before!!!! They had the entire day to notify us and we were left stranded at the very last minute! Wont recommend, wont visit!!!

I absolutely recommend Saffron Kebab Restaurant. I tried all three main kebabs and enjoyed it, it was very tasty, tender and juicy, and well cooked and marinated. The owners were very welcoming and kind. There were also beautiful carpets and Art forms on the wall that make the atmosphere great. Overall, it was a great experience for me.

very good place to dine in. the food was delicious and the portions were huge. our meal came with soup as well for no additional cost. even though the portions are huge, the prices were very reasonable. i would definitely come back for another time! also the service was very fast which is surprising since it’s kabab. the appetizers were very good too the eggplant appetizer was so delicious. definitely recommended

More than satisfied!!!Delicious, fresh and perfect quality food. My kids will never it food with artificial flavours, taste of bad oil or kind of “fast food “. At this place they ate everything!Very nice and friendly staff, so you feel very comfortable!One more important moment: they were very careful with the food for my allergic daughter, it means a lot!Thank you !!!
