Avis Car Rental

My husband and I recently went out to New Brunswick to visit some family, and we had an AMAZING experience with this company. We had Allison and Monica helping us, and they truly did everything they could to ensure we got the best deal, best car, and the best service.10/10 we will definitely be calling them again when we come back through New Brunswick.

Picked up a car in St. John that needed maintenance but they insisted it was fine. It wasn't. Car made lots of noises and still had winter tires in August. Drove to Moncton but staff at airport was useless. They did not answer the phone and when we drove out there the only car they were willing to give us would not fit our luggage. Just terrible service with low inventory. We travel alot but this is by far our worst rental car experience.

The worst customer service in the world! Rented a car at Moncton Airport, they confirmed that I drop it off at Main St location with no charge - When I get to Main - they say I have to pay additional $60. Also had a tire puncture and requested a car exchange as I needed tp travel on hwy and with a three wheeler with spare - it is not safe. This location said NO - we cannot do it. You are stuck with your three wheeler. I need a refund for the last 2 days that I did not drive. DO NOT RENT FROM AVIS MONCTON!!!

Rented a car in Fredericton that was filthy. At least the lady at the counter tried to wipe it clean and deodorize it. The smell got so bad and the service light came on so we decided to detour to Moncton and exchange the car. Spoke to Doug at the Main Street location and he was completely unhelpful. After looking at two cars that were also filthy, we just took one and went to Canadian tire to buy supplies and clean it ourselves. It was also not full of gas. After speaking to a customer service manager, she said there was nothing they could do except offer me a $50 coupon for the next rental. That’s not customer service. At the very least I would have expected them to reimburse me for the cost of the cleaning supplies and gas for the detour. Will not rent with Avis again as a result of their “customer service”. They should try to fix the current experience rather than try to manage a future one.

Picked up an Avis car at the airport and wanted to return it for another weeks rental at the Main Street location. 60$ drop fee! Don’t rent from the airport

Heading to Moncton for a vacation and need to rent a car. I only leave positive reviews when I receive excellent service. I don’t have the time to complain about ones that don’t deserve a 5 star review. However, I will mention that trying to rent a car from Hertz was a headache and thankfully I wasn’t successful.But I am more than happy to give a 5 star review to Doug at Avis. Calling only a few minutes before close and Doug was more than happy to help out and get me looked after. Super helpful and super good guy to talk to. Even gave me some recommendations for things to do. He went above and beyond and I’m super grateful.

Not used to having a good experience with rental cars however this time was great. Got a nice Hyundai Sonata, clean and with a full tank. Dealt with the same person from start to finish, Doug, and did not have any troubles. I was treated with respect and appreciated how timely they were.

Rented a car here for 60% less than anywhere else offered. Staff were great too.

Droped off the car the night before it was due and Doug the manager on duty charged me an extra $300 because he though it was late.It was due at 9 AM the next day. Lucky for me I had my entire transaction on video and pictures. Its always a great idea to take pics and document. This guy is completely imconpetent at his job and basically stole from me with inpunity. I am never going to rent from Avis again. I will also depute with Master Card and get my money back. I am not sure why this guy is so shady. Police should investigate!Jay

The little guy with the beard has a serious attitude problem. Terrible employee. Learn to chill out frodo. Maybe stop littering your cigarette butts all over the place.
