I'm a senior and would have preferred a much more helpful staff member in fitting winter boots - you lost a sale folks!

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Store has great collection of almost everything one might need for hiking/camping (has a sale too on few items). The store was about to close in few mins and I was bit hesitant to go in at the last moment but the guy inside saw me by the entrance, and he was very welcoming. I already knew what I was getting so he helped me find and pick up the item without rushing unlike most other stores.

A great selection for a relatively small space (compared to MEC, for example) and always friendly staff, ready to help out.

There are very big quantity and quality items.Staff is very polite and cheerful to the clients.Price is average for customers.Location is very good.

Great customer service here every time. The staff were so friendly and helpful helping me find a rain shell for my hike. Unfortunately, I watched a rude customer yell at the staff trying to get a discount for something that was obviously not a part of the sale, and the manager, Matthew, handled it very professionally and respectfully and the other staff kept the line moving along.

Great selection of products in a decent sized store. Not too big, not too small, but just right! Friendly helpful staff. No complaints.

Everytime I go to this location they are super helpful & kind. Sometimes their really busy but there always seems to be one person who is zipping around enthusiastically!

Visited this store today - June 21, 2022 at approximately 5:00 pm. The store wasn’t busy, maybe 1 or 2 other customers, more staff then customers. I was looking to buy some hiking boots, there was a young lady stationed in the shoe section but she didn’t acknowledge that I was even there or offer to help at all. I asked her for a size, she obliged without a word, put the box and the bench and didn’t say a word. I tried to ask some questions and received one word answers. At that point I wasn’t buying shoes there based on this experience, I said thanks and didn’t receive a word back. I then went to Sporting Life where I received excellent service and bought my shoes there. I won’t be going back to that Atmosphere.

Unfortunately the individual managing the cash register was very unhappy to be there today and other staff occupied on their phones. I was looking at socks, and the employee in the shoe section was on their phone and didn’t offer to help. I then went up to pay for the socks and the individual at cash Didn’t say hello, rang the item through, I paid and then asked for a gift receipt. He said that I should have told him beforehand and now needed to get manager ID to get it. When radioing his manager he was very displeased and was acting like it was my fault and was an inconvenience. (The store I was at right before rang the gift receipt through after I paid so assumed they were the same!). Not a great feeling to think you’re being an inconvenience while trying to Christmas shop! It’s Christmas most people need a gift receipt and I should have been asked in advance if that was such a hassle.
