Mumford Family Dental Centre

Mumford Family Dental Centre have been my dentist ever since I moved back to Halifax. I fell in with them because they would give me an appointment the next day for a tooth I had broken and it was hurting so badly. I have been their loyal client now for over 2 years and have had a couple of other times needed immediate attention. They will work me in asap and I have been so grateful. Also as with most people I don't like the dentist but now I don't worry that the needle will hurt 'cuz they are the best I have ever experienced at the dreaded poke. Call them, you won't be disappointed.

Dr Moore has been absolutely amazing in a couple of dental emergencies I've had; I can't thank her enough for the quality of care and efficient service she has provided me. The whole staff is wonderful. They will always make time at the last minute if a patient is suffering. They have been wonderful with my energetic kids. 5 stars!!

I just recently became a patient of mumford family dental center and all i can say is wow... such friendly ladies even in the midst of covid which im sure cant be a pleasant time from the receptionist staff which all are super sweet and friendly had my initial appt with dr meredith lowe and her lovelly assistant they all made you feel at ease and comfortable and you understood each step im.usually a super anxious and nervous nelly at the dentist they really seem to make you at ease in the chair and take there time and are super gentle when they can be . Sooo glad i took.a chance and called them out of the blue when looking for a new dentist.(Add on edit! ) Ended up back multiple times with dry socket due to no fault from myself or theirs and they were fantastic so patient and kind dr moore really made an impression on me and going forward she will be my go to dentist. But they are are simply amazing you will never find a team of dentists who care like these ladies

I just starting going to Mumford Family Dental last year and it has been an amazing experience. Dr. Lowe and Samara are both very hardworking and really care about each patient that they see and make sure you leave the office nothing but 100% satisfied. Any concerns I have I feel comfortable bringing to them and they are always willing to answer my questions. They take their time, and do not rush you out the door like other clinics I have been to. The receptionists are amazing as well, and always work with Dr.Lowe to schedule an appointment that works best for you. I’ve had a couple of times where I scheduled an appointment later in the evening but plans changed and I wanted to see if I could get in earlier. The staff were able to squeeze me in at an earlier time despite me calling only a few hours before my original appointment time. This is an amazing clinic with caring staff and I highly recommended it to anyone in Halifax!!! :) Dr. Lowe and Samara are the best

Recently started coming here after years of avoiding dentists following a couple of bad experiences. They are fantastic! Thank you Dr. Lowe, Samarah, Karlie, Pam and the ladies at reception for giving me such a positive experience. Here’s a pictures of my kittens in thanks!

Myself and my kids have had several urgent dental issues and Dr Melanie Moore and her associates have always managed to squeeze us in and make things right. I cannot say enough about how kind, positive and accommodating they are - not to mention, extremely skilled dentists. I actually don't dread the dentist anymore.

This clinic is amazing. Every staff member from reception, to the assistants, to Dr. Meredith Lowe is caring and concerned for your oral health. Coming from someone that has extreme dental anxiety, this clinic won't rush you or make you feel bad for being nervous. Mumford Family Dental is the kind of office you can count on feeling cared for after you leave. Thanks to the whole team for making each visit such a positive experience. If you're putting off visiting the dentist out of fear...give this spot a try!

VERY disappointed!I went there to fix a small cavity, few weeks after I felt pain and discomfort with that tooth. It was bothering me when I was eating or drinking. I called to ask if they can take a look at it agin. They told me that the dentist was on maternity leave but another dentist can take me. I was there for 5 minutes, they polished my tooth and said hopefully that can help me. BUT they charge me $53 for the 5 minutes that I was there for a cavity that they fix but was bothering me. Not cool at all.Not a friendly receptionist either.

Just started going here about a year ago and they are fantastic - Dr Lowe and Melanie are both great. I've had multiple fillings replaced without issue. Very professional and friendly. Highly recommend.

By far the best experience at a Dentist thus far. Dr.Lowe, Samara and Melanie are great! Rebecca at reception is a pleasure to deal with :) Highly recommend
