Me and my older Father Love this place. We usually come here on the Tuesday for the cheaper movie tickets. Look closer though now and you'll notice the whole movie industry is stalling . Great Japanese food here though.

I don’t want to blame them - but i got their chicken stir fry with noddles on (Thursday March 23,2023) and within a few hours of eating it I felt really sick. I ended up throwing up non stop all night. My take is I got food poisoning from them. That was the only things I had eaten from take out that day so my belief it was from this restaurant - the chicken was dry and chewy didn’t taste the best but they masked it with tons of sauce

Got the takoyaki (octopus balls), and they were really good! They kind of reminded me of spring rolls, but more soft on the inside. The brown sauce they have at the bottom of the container is supper yummy! I made sure to cover my food with them. It was even interesting to find little octopus tentacles on the inside of the fried balls. I just found it really weird that the flakes that they top the food with was moving on it’s own with no wind, but I would eat it again!

Every single time my family comes here, their food is consistent and great as always. The regular teriyaki sauce Koya serves is the best I’ve ever tasted. My family has tried to make the sauce ourselves because of how good it is, but we just can’t get it right. They always serve large portions, and make it fresh on a grill right in front of you. Food 10/10. Service 10/10. Service speed (on a busy day) is still pretty great and it’s ready within 10 minutes.

Sooo Friday night, I decided to grab a bite from the restaurant that shares my name. Ramen was the order of the day. The service was ok, but hun-ney, listen to me, the seasoning was definitely not seasoning that night with their Ramen. My son tried it and asked mom, why does this taste like water?" I'm hoping this was a miss night because I really did not enjoy that it even afyer trying to salvage it with soy sauceBut

This place was okay. Great customer service however they lost stars because the chicken was already pre-cooked. It did not taste fresh as it was already dry (ex. The edges were hard and it was like rubber when I was chewing it). I usually get this dish in other teriyaki places and you can see them stir fry fresh chicken. I feel like they mask the dryness and the already cooked state with the sauce they put on top of it and when they re-heat it on the cooktop. If it was fresh, I don’t think it takes less than 2 minutes from when I paid to receiving my dish to say it’s freshly made.

Waited 20 minutes for them to completely mix up a friend and mine order, double checked they had correct order and still given the wrong thing. And no one picking up phone. Pre cooked chicken dry and sauce is bland
