The sauce is very unique, and will continue to be unique because the sauce is their secret. If you are ever in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region, I suggest La Gaulois for your poutine fix. Bonne appetite.

Absolutly disgraceful..I tried to speak French and they all laughed at me as I From Ontario niagara area. Very very immature and small minded. Food was good.

First time in the area. Looking for Poutine and La Gauloise over delivered. Huge portion and delicious.I came in with a group of 11, we were loud and the folks behind the counter did not seem to mind at all. I felt bad that we pronounced everything wrong, but was happy to be greeted by a bilingual hostess.

Excellent place for a poutine! Was very pleased with the food and the service even if it is now only take-out because of covid. A MUST for anyone travelling to this area. Absolutely great place to eat. Not fine dining but amazing basics. Great prices.

Very good poutines! You get lots for your money :)Would definitely recommend.I stopped by last week it was take out only. Not sure if its eat in yet but the marina is beautiful so you can eat there.
