We hired Class Act to DJ our wedding in Canmore in October 2020, and we could not be happier with our choice!From the time we first got in touch, Rob was responsive to all of our requests and very helpful throughout the planning process. Using his website to plan our playlist was intuitive and efficient. We appreciated Rob's experience and advice when selecting our first, second and third dance songs.At the wedding reception, Rob helped facilitate our speeches by having a sanitized microphone ready for each new speaker (Covid friendly!). During the dance, Rob was great at reading the room and keeping the dance floor full. He accommodated the eclectic mix of requests from our guests (and us) without issue.It was a pleasure working with Rob and we will highly recommend using Class Act to any friends or family looking for a DJ service in the Canmore area. We hired Class Act DJs for our wedding at Emerald Lake Lodge and had Rob Lavery as our DJ. He was very accommodating to our schedule and requests. We had an absolute blast dancing all night long and got tons of compliments on the music he played!

Rob is the GOAT. GREATEST OF ALL TIME.I was incredibly impressed by his ability to understand the music I wanted without me having to give a list. Rob did EVERYTHING.•Arrived and set up at the ceremony site (Tunnel Mountain Reservoir)•Mic’d the officiant (everyone could hear the ceremony on the windy mountain)•Played the agreed upon songs perfectly timed! •Set up and played music during the cocktail hour.•Engaged with my MC’s to set up the funnest game of Finish the Lyrics!•Quickly set up the slideshow *~NO TECHNICAL ERRORS OR MISSED MOMENTS!! IT WAS FLAWLESS~*•Played fun dance music ALL night. Everyone loved it. The kids and the parents and the middle aged guests tore up the dance floor all night!!

Rob did an amazing job from the ceremony music, MCing, and the reception! There were no issues at all. The music was flawless! From having the office theme song playing for when the groom walked down, to doing our music for our first dance, he also introduced and was the MC. I really appreciate his theme he went with of 'travel' and made some personal touches. He was also great during the reception and we appreciate him dealing with all the requests! We had a great experience with Class Act. We worked with Rob for the booking and details. As our wedding got closer we worked with Patrick Smiley, our specific DJ, on any special songs and the layout of the dance. Patrick exceeded our expectations. He kept the dance floor busy all night, played all of the songs we requested and totally read our audience to engage everyone. We would 100% hire Class Act again. We received a lot of positive comments from our wedding guests.

Rob was a fantastic DJ for our wedding!We wanted the night to be fun and full of dancing and he delieved just that. Several of our guests have commented on how great the playlist was and have even wanted a copy of it. It has been three days and I am still sore from dancing all night long.We also opted for Rob to do the lighting for the reception which created such a fun atmosphere!Overall amazing experience!!

We love Rob.He just DJ'd at our wedding last weekend in Canmore and people were on the dance floor all night.He was super flexible and open to requests. I honestly did not give him much guidance and he just went with it and did an amazing job. He played awesome music.He was there for our cocktail hour, reception and dance. Rob did an amazing job throughout the day at our wedding, from coordinating the music at our ceremony to MC'ing our reception and of course making sure our dance floor was amped up throughout the night! Rob went above and beyond for my wife and I, staying past our original stop point to make sure our wedding guests and us had a few last songs to dance to before the wedding ended! Rob is professional, kind and above all, made sure my wife and I were happy before the wedding with a meeting with him the week before to discuss logistics.
