Dr. Kadi White was excellent during our Clementine's initial examination at Guildford Animal Hospital. She was thorough, polite and knowledgeable. She made sure our little fur princess was comfortable and at ease during the visit. We had a very bad experience with our previous vet 186 St Animal Hospital which had us researching (online, word of mouth recommendations through friends, family, coworkers) for top vet clinics in Surrey. From start to finish of the appointment, we felt Clem was in good hands. The vet assistant, tech and Dr. provided outstanding service!

After a bad experience at another vet, we were directed to Guilford Animal Hospital. The staff was empathetic, knowledgeable, and caring. The doctors took the time to answer all our questions and to review all options before we collectively decided on a course of treatment. Best. Vet. EVER!

Thank you to the team at Guildford Animal Hospital for providing exceptional care to my dog that required a cryptorchid neuter. The team was knowledgeable and kind.Prices were very reasonable for the type of neuter my dog required. Dr Cathy & the team have been absolutely incredible with our two dogs, Puck and then Jackson. Our rescue Jackson has huge anxiety about the vets and they have been amazing helping reassure him during his treatments. Their care and attention has been top notch. We’re going to miss them immensely as we move to the Kootenays. Thanks for all you’ve done for us.

Sophie and Gracie enjoyed their recent visit to Guildford Animal Hospital. The staff are always super friendly. The curb-side service was very easy, and I always appreciate the nail trims! Also, I find the pet food here to be a few dollars cheaper than the place I used to get it from. Thanks again!

Always happy to see our dogs and they take very good care of them. Willing to get an animal in very quickly if it is an emergency or simply really important, like a sudden burst of allergies. Several very good veterinarians work here and we have chosen to see 3 different doctors, (due to our time constraints), and have been just as pleased with each. The nurses and the ladies that work the front desk are kind, friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. You cannot go wrong taking your much loved pet of any kind to Guildford Animal Hospital.

I have been to this hospital 2 or three times. Last time I spent around more than $600 to fix the problem that my dog has, they ask me to wait two to three weeks for the result and call the clinic back. I called them regarding the situations because my dog didn't have any improvement. The receptionist said the doctor will charge $60 for the doctor and $75 for the diagnosis and I already spent $600 before in the clinic, I asked the receptionist if there is any way that we could remove the charge because I am not a millionaire they said This is our rule we are sorry, and they didn't even take care of the dogs so far. They didn't ask if the dogs were going well or not. I won't recommend this place at all for anybody and anywhere that I will go I will talk badly about their service. Unfortunately I am not that person to give a bad review but you deserve it guys because you guys didn't follow up.I need you guys to called me back you did nothing Regards the dog and I don't know how people gave you a good review.

I recently had my dog Mochi undergo two knee surgeries at Guildford Animal Hospital, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.Despite her busy schedule, Dr. Cathy always took the time to speak with Mochi, offering words of encouragement to us.Dr. Maia arranged for the most suitable surgeon to perform Mochi's surgery, allowing for a prompt surgery and a speedy recovery.Dr. Maia and Dr. Katie were also meticulous in organizing Mochi's post-operative medication and care.The reception staff were incredibly sympathetic and provided us with much-needed comfort during the challenging time.Thank you, Guildford Animal Hospital, for taking such great care of Mochi and making the entire process as smooth as possible.

Can't say enough good things. Compassionate Vet, thorough examination. Recommendations that actually provide results. Hands down best Vet I've been to and I've been to alot!Unfortunately I have to change my review...The receptionist was extremely rude to me when I came in to purchase food for my dog. She called me a liar when I said I had purchased food there she couldn't see on my file. She tries to sell me the wrong kind of food for my dog and didn't acknowledge her mistake. She pulled out some food for me to look at and was upset I didn't purchase all the food she pulled out, and angrily put the food away instead of cashing me out. Every single question I asked her was met with hostility. It was really uncomfortable. I love the veterinarian, but I don't want to deal with her again.Someone from the office called me and apologized and won my business back. I appreciate the effort they made to rectify the situation. Thanks guys.

Guildford Animal Hospital's revolving door of veterinarians and their failure to record calls or maintain adequate call notes consistently frustrate clients. The need to repeat pet concerns to different representatives lacking knowledge of previous conversations undermines trust in the clinic's services. Additionally, the clinic's unresponsiveness necessitates multiple calls and follow-up emails from clients.During my visit to Guildford Animal Hospital on June 12, I was under the impression that I wouldn't be charged an additional examination fee, as I had been informed previously. Furthermore, I was given an estimated cost range of $500 to $700 for the required services for my pet. However, to my surprise, the examination fee was included in the final estimate provided at the appointment. I spent nearly an hour (2 pm to 2:57 pm) engaged in a back-and-forth discussion with the veterinarian, emphasizing that I had been assured the fee would be waived. I reiterated numerous times that I was prepared to pay all other charges, except for the fee that was supposed to be waived. It is disheartening to spend an hour debating an $80 fee when I was fully willing and ready to pay a significantly higher amount for the necessary treatment.Considering the importance of our pets' lives and well-being, which many of us regard as akin to our own children, it would be reasonable for the clinic to either record their conversations or allow clients to record their interactions with the staff. Such measures would ensure accurate information exchange and accountability, ultimately benefiting both the clients and their beloved pets. It is clear that there is a misalignment of values between myself, as a client concerned about my pet's welfare, and Guildford Animal Hospital, as indicated by the statement made by their manager.
