Ottawa Ribfest
I love the Ribfest, me and my brothers go every year. Only a few times have I had very dry and terrible ribs, probably because it was left out too long without being sold. Overall always a great experience and you can sit down and grab a beer also. If you go around lunchtime, make sure your ready to wait because lines can be pretty long but they are pretty fast at serving things up.

This was lick, uncle Sam's was number one for me, and the custom large pop mug u got with free refills all day was icing on the cake, wish this was a regular event

Ribfest is so disgusting. Y'all can smell the smoke from blocks away. It makes us want to vomit, and it'll be a difficult week for people with asthma or Covid-related lung conditions. Why would you want to bring in all those smoke-belching trucks, when we've already been invaded by trucks? Where's the sense in that? Duh. I'm gonna avoid shopping on Sparks Street in June.

4 years in Ottawa, and my 1st time in the Ribfest. Delicious, patios open to eat and drink. I'll come again!!!

Delicious!! I love that there are places to sit free , water dispenser if you want there are also terraces where you can buy a drink and you can bring your ribs! and it is not a parking lot. The street is very nice.. well organized.

Great Ribs and atmosphere. One comments is Don't get theini donuts there, horrible! They taste like mini bagels in all honesty.

Pork ribs are readily available all year round, from local restaurants, where as beef ribs are not in my experience. So I went to the Silver bullet booth to grab a beef Dino rib. It was just ok, however when I walked back to the booth & added the sauce they had out it was MUCH much better. My friends tried the Gaitor booth pork ribs & said those ribs were amazing!

The one vendor I went to ran out of pulled pork at like 2pm on a Saturday. Ribs and chicken were alright at the time… next morning I was on the bowl from like 5am-7am. I dont have any food intolerances nor allergies so I suspect this was a sanitary issue. Not indicative of the entire festival but still unfortunate.
