Unleashed on 42

I give this kennel a very poor rating. It rates zero stars.So, I am surprised at the ratings for this kennel that I see online.This kennel used to be Tails Wag Inn. During COVID it closed down, and these new owners opened up this kennel. Tails Wag Inn was very good. So, I decided to give this kennel a try. It appeared to be good at first They texted pics of my dog there for daycare or overnight. After the first few times they no longer texted. Perhaps they have personnel problems. It appears that way from what I can see. Also, they use a stained mulch in their outdoor runs ... the ones my dog was in at any rate. She got stained paws and even snout. It took a few months after I stopped taking here there before the stain wore away. The stain could NOT be washed out. When I asked about this, the answer I was given was that it did not occur at their kennel.It DID occur at this kennel. If they are going to use mulch, then it should be the unstained kind, so as not to poison the animals.Also, the last time I had my dog there, she injured her cruciate ligament. They denied this again.So, I don't know what the issue was. But the manager was unprofessional in her telephone call with me regarding this, as was the owner who I asked to talk to.Also, they don't allow you to go and see the kennels.I don't know any other kennel who operates this way.All kennels that I have used allow me to go and see them before I agree to kennel my dog there.My dog is not a prissy small dog.She is a very friendly and well behaved Siberian Husky.I was suspicious to start with, and this has been confirmed.What are they hiding?I expect that there are issues in the kennels where the dogs are kept. If only our dogs could talk and let us know what is truly occurring there.I no longer use this kennel, and don't recommend it to anyone.I am back with Tails Wag Inn which has moved to another location.I hope that others who have had similar experiences report this here so the ratings seen online are accurate.

Absolutely love bringing my pup to Unleashed on 42! She's so excited when we pull in the driveway and tuckered out when I pick her up. The staff are so kind and treat Luna like their own. 10/10 recommend!

Can't imagine any other place I'd rather send my pup, and he loves it at Unleashed, and is always excited to go!

Great experience for my two dogs. We used both the daycare and boarding. Well maintained space with lots of room for outdoor activities. Dogs are paired with similar age and activity level dogs. Staff is kind and knowledgeable. Love the daily report cards with pictures

Unleashed is absolutely amazing! The team is so wonderful and great with our extremely energetic boy, Baloo!They’ve been so accommodating for all of his stays and we adore the daily report cards and photo updates. I can always tell at pickup that Baloo is having too much fun and doesn’t want to come home. :)

Never having used a boarding service for our dogs, we were nervous about doing so. Unleashed on 42 came SO highly recommended by friends, family and co-workers that boarding them there became the obvious choice. If or when we board again, we will absolutely give Unleashed a call for our pooches. Our boys give them a four-paws-up rating!

I cannot recommend Unleashed on 42 enough! The staff here is incredible and you can tell they really care for dogs. Our pup Captain Meatball is an extremely energetic dog whose not always easy to leave with family and friends. That's why when we found Unleashed on 42, it really gave us confidence and peace of mind when we go away for a weekend (or extended period of time) knowing he will be taken care of, get plenty of exercise, and meet new friends in a spacious and controlled environment to improve his socialization skills.We always look forward to the report cards we get every day and seeing how much fun he has at Unleashed. Best of all, he comes home all tuckered out and is able to nap peacefully for days!

We have been taking our one year old dog Scout a few months ago and everyone there is amazing!! He is a large Labrador who has made the best friends and learned so much about socialization. We get daily updates with photos and a report card about his day at night and best friends that day and other great info. I am SO glad we took him there and look forward to a long relationship ahead. They also have a great boutique and treats to purchase.Christine

Can't say enough great things about Unleashed. We have a very large and rambunctious Newfoundland dog who loves to play with all the other dogs and staff each time he visits. We love getting the mid day updates and report cards to get a sense of what he's up to during the day.Leaving your dog with strangers can be stressful but the staff are all so friendly and kind, going above and beyond to put you at ease. When our dog was scheduled to do an overnight stay but needed to limit his play time due to an injury the staff dedicated personal time to play with him. Absolutely would recommend for day care and kennel services!

I have to be honest , I was nervous sending Remington, my Rescue Cane Corso as he sometimes has trouble with new people . Our other fur child , Bella loves everyone and everything so she was of no concern. Unleashed on 42 and their staff put all my fears to rest with their professional and amazing attitudes. The Report cards and texts " from my dogs were such an awesome and appreciated added bonus . As far as I am concerned they have earned my vote for our pups home away from home. We also received a small welcoming gift bag for the each of the pups
