Ongles Sailor Moon

Went in for manicure and pedicure with my family the other day. Both Danyka and Ching were sweet and welcoming. They were super attentive and professional with what they did for us. I will definitely go back there the next time I’m back in Montréal. Look no further!

It takes a long time to get answer on Ig. When you call the salon only the owner speak French and English so if she is not there it’s hard to take an appointment. I went to times to do my nails and pedicure. Both time she was polite to my white friend but rude to me and I still didn’t comment on that cause its not my job to educate people. The first time after leaving I realized that some of my nails were not glue properly (a lot of space between my natural nails and the prostatic one glued), the second time I went I mentioned that and she said she didn’t have the right tools to fix that. I was surprised cause she charge way more then any salon I went in my entire life so obviously I thought she was well equipped and was disappointed. I give great tip everywhere I go cause I’ve been working in customer service all my life even tho the woman who did my pedicure was really rough and hurt me a couple of times. The « owner » actually called me old (I’m only 31) and even with the disrespect I went a second time for the same services (manicure and pedicure). The third time I booked and appointment I got sick but still took the time to go over there and let her know cause I didn’t know if it was COVID so I had to be checked. She got a really nasty attitude towards me and said I should call next time cause the pedicure lady was already there. I apologize multiple times and even that wasn’t enough. The next time I called she was rude to me, told me she was booked for the month (mind you I referred 2 clients to her that go often and told me she was still taking appointments). She also told me I would be better off finding an other salon. I actually did and made sure that my two referral never go back there. ONGLE KIM LIEN 5150 Parc Av, they do all kinds of designs, great customer service, speak French and English and they don’t over charge or blacklist you if you get sick and need to cancel and actually appreciate diversity in their customers!!!

First time getting a mani at this salon and I’m very satisfied! The nail tech was nice and gentle while working on my hands and the final results is exactly what I wanted.

I’ve been going to Sailor Moon for over a year now and have never been disappointed with my nails! Danika is amazing and can literally do any design you ask. Would 100% recommend.

I just walked out of the appointment because when she was putting on the acrylics she added a liquid and it was burning and when I asked why she was so rude and she asked if I could just take the pain (and let me work etc) and I said no- I’m not getting tortured for $120 tfffff it was like chemical burn and it is still hurting my cuticles. I’ve been before and it was good but dang I do not suggest sailor moon nails anymore.

update on January 2021: added 4 photos - TAKE A LOOK YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTEDedit on August 2019: added two pics and they last over a month. it’s incredible !nails are ALWAYS perfect when i get it done with danika. she never fails to amaze me. it’s fast, clean and easy. the ambiance is also a plus (you can bring your pet). danika’s quick and she’s an artist at what she does. as a result, my nails never break or crack. it can even last up to a month with little imperfections! the prices are pretty affordable for a nail salon in mont royal. i totally recommend. plus, she offers a lot of colours/stickers/blings!!ps: you can always walk-in but i suggest you call a day before.*** also cash only!! ****ig account: onglessailormoon

Loved my nails!!! First time ever getting shellac. Lots of colour options, applied with care and great attention to detail, and easy removal a few weeks later. Received lots of compliments from friends and I felt so happy with the result. Will return!

My new favourite nails place! Danika is a real pro, her designs are pristine and she does it super fast! It's been a month and none of my nails broke. Usually I hate getting nails done cause it takes so long but she is efficient, friendly and does a really good job, would highly recommend

Good nail art does NOT outweigh bad customer service skills therefore I'd recommend other places over this location!I really wish I had based my decision coming to this salon on the reviews. I already had a gut feeling from the negative reviews and how they communicate with their customers however I chose to take an appointment anyway. I normally get acrylic nails with the under nail painted as well so I mentioned it upon arrival to which she said we don't do that" not clarifying that she would not actually remove the color from underneath. She proceeded to start removing the color from the top of my nail when I asked if she was also going to remove the color from underneath. She stated that they do not do this as she doesn't have the appropriate tool. I was shocked to say the least as I obviously wouldn't want my nails redone without the under nail also in fresh shape. I told her I didn't want her to continue if she was unable to remove the color from underneath and that I wished she had taken the time to clarify this to me. As I was explaining my frustration to her she became aggressive and extremely rude. As someone who also runs a business I was beyond shocked at her lack of respect towards customers. I started to film the encounter for safety purposes as she was getting in my personal space and she literally followed me out of her shop yelling.Yes she did say "we don't do that" but that's very vague

Great service, manicure was perfect and she took the time with attention to details. Would highly recommend!
