We have used Graceful Birth twice. The first time we hired a night doula (Aubrey) for the initial couple of weeks after our son was born. It was extremely helpful to have another pair of hands (and a kind ear) as my partner was still working and needed sleep. The second time was more recently when I had to go away for a work-related conference for a couple of days, but the baby was still not sleeping through the night, so I wanted some support for my partner. The night nurse (Marylou) was fabulous, even teaching my partner a new hold that made bottle-feeding easier.

Maggie was an indispensable part of my labour. I literally could not imagine doing it without her. I am normally very anxious, but I was so calm during my labour, all thanks to her. She made it a very beautiful experience instead of the frightful one it could have been. I cannot compliment her enough. She was quick to arrive as needed too. She was simply amazing. I wish I could give 6 stars. I have no negatives whatsoever.Grace was very quick to connect with me and I appreciated that a lot. Highly professional.I cannot recommend these guys enough if you want an amazing birth experience!!

Absolutely couldn't have had a better support system than Grace and her team. The doula and night nurse services were beyond my expectations & both ladies played a very important role in helping me prepare for labour & recover mentally, emotionally and physically.The doula services provided my Tricia was phenomenal. She was the light in the darkness of labour. With her couching me from start to finish, helping me to induce labour naturally, educating me, being a support system via phone and in person & manage labour pains. Supporting and guiding me through a lengthy labour. Her positivity and professionalism has truly made a mark on my birthing journey.Marianne was my night nurse and I couldn't thank her enough. Marianne dedicated her nights to helping me get the rest that I needed by caring for my newborn. She treated him as her own, educated me in healthy infant patterns, infant sleep safety & looked after us until both baby and myself were on the mend and able to develope a routine.Thank you so much for the care and love, definitely glad to make Grace & her team apart of my pregnancy & birthing journey. Would recommend 100%

I had a great experience with Maggie as my birth doula. She is a warm and lovely person and I cannot recommend her enough. Maggie was knowledgeable and informative and we felt we were in good hands both before during and after the birth of our first child. As a first time parent I had many questions and Maggie happily answered them all. I can't imagine going through that without her and if we have more children we want Maggie there with us again!

Words are inadequate to capture our experience with our doula, Charmaine, but I will try! I reached out to Grace with a bit of information about us, we were planning a home birth and looking for support from someone who believed in holistic birthing and minimal intervention. Grace suggested that we meet with Charmaine and we clicked instantly. She is warm, down to earth and very experienced. We immediately felt like we had known her for years and felt so excited and prepared for the birth knowing that she would be there with us. When the birthing day came, Charmaine was the voice that we both needed and she brought a beautiful, comforting, ethereal energy that allowed me to fully tune into my body and trust that everything else would be taken care of just because she was there. This was my first pregnancy and birthing experience and I could not have imagined doing it without her, nor would I ever want to. The work that she does is absolutely life changing as she helped us to welcome our daughter with nothing but love and patience and we will be forever grateful for her presence and never forget everything that she has done for us. Thank you a million times over!I also used Grace’s placenta encapsulation services. Grace was very responsive and kind when I had questions about taking the capsules right away as I was not feeling 100% after giving birth and having my milk come in. I took her advice and waited a couple of days and listened to my body. I felt like the postpartum anxiety that I was experiencing was gone almost immediately after taking the capsules. I would recommend the service for others without a doubt.

I was originally on the fence about using a birth doula… after my experience I am so happy that I made the right decision. Maggie was my doula and she did a phenomenal job. She was warm, supportive, and super responsive throughout my pregnancy (and after too!). When the time came where I had to make specific decisions about the birth, she was there to provide helpful information without pressuring me in any way. Lastly, her support during the labour was instrumental in getting me through the painful parts - I am forever grateful she was there!

My doula Maggie was absolutely amazing. She provided me with support before and during birth. She stayed with me throughout labour and delivery, guiding my breathing, massaging my back, telling me what to expect and more. I don’t know how I would have done it without her!

Maggie is the best thing that happened to us besides our baby boy, of course! My husband and I did the hypno birthing class and learned a ton to prepare for labour. Maggie always stayed in touch through my pregnancy, checking in on weekly doctor visits, ultrasounds and on my well being. I was supposed to get induced on a Friday due to low amniotic fluid and tried my best to self induce with the tips Maggie had given me. Sure enough, 4 days before the scheduled induction I started getting contractions all in my lower back. I sat in a bath, walked, tried to lay down but could not get comfortable. Went to the hospital to get checked and they advised that I’m 2cm & 80% effaced but the baby was posterior. Maggie came to our house to pre- labour with me and from 5:00am till 1:00pm got me to try various positions with a focus on breathing. The baby finally moved and I started feeling contractions in the front. She was by my side at the hospital and got me to focus and breathe and I was able to go through labour unmedicated. Hospital rooms are not the most comfortable but she came prepared, we had lavender essential oils, lights off and music playing the entire time.  She kept me motivated and focused which helped me progress. She was constantly checking in on my husband to ensure he was doing good as well. She is a gem, we consider her our family and we feel blessed to have had her during such a special time. I 100% recommend a Maggie for support, this was one of the best decisions I made for myself.
