Beware!2 months after Akin's installation of my water softener I noticed water under the floor of my laundry room where the water softener is located. After ruling out a few possible reasons, a plumber was called. He soon noticed that the water softener drain hose had been misplaced. It was put BEHIND the drainage hose, not inside it. He thus placed the hose properly inside the drainage pipe. Before that every time the softener did it's regeneration the water had been going down the outside wall and under my house; eventually coming back up on the floor and lower walls. I called my insurance and began the drying out process. My insurance got in touch with Akin to recover the costs, but Akin denied that he had misplaced the hose, saying that it must be my main drainage pipe that was backing up. Even though I had a plumber's invoice and the fact that there was no more water seepage after the hose was properly placed, Akin would not concede that he made the mistake and I ended up having to absorb the insurance costs. I now am also left with no one to service my water softener in my community and am worried about my 12 year warrantee. I needed help changing the chlorine filter and Akin refused to come to my house. As a result I absolutely do NOT recommend this company.

Akin was very knowledgeable and understanding through out the purchasing and installation of our new water softener. We had several questions, for which he was able to answer and ensured we were getting the right system for our family’s needs. Our system was only installed a few days ago, but we noticed the difference right away.Would definitely recommend Akin and Aqtros Water to anyone who is in the market
