T&T Nails and Spa (South 40)

I left T&T yesterday BLEEDING and crying. I never write google reviews but this was ludicrous. I came in asking for an Acrylic fill and she decided she wanted to do a full set. She ripped my nail in the removal process. Now, I'm generally flexible and understand accidents happen, but in the application of the nails- 8 TIMES I pulled my hand away in pain. My fingers are all sliced up under my nails, OPEN WOUNDS from nail files. Still charged me 90$

I booked to have gel nails done. I argued with then for what felt like 10 mins explaining how to apply gel as I did not want powder / acrylic nails. They list it as a service gel nails they should be able to do what they offer . Then they proceeded to cut off my nail tip, which I explained was my natural nails. I put a massive stop on them when they tried to do that any further. They didn’t even put a gel tip on to correct the issue, they put a small plastic tip with nail glue. I’m blown away and disappointed with their nail services. I also picked a picture from their Facebook of nails they have done and they proceed to tell me they can’t do it.They did a pedicure at that went well as it was simple done. However I will not be going back to do my nails again.

Upon walking in to the business, there is a large poster with pricing. I opted to get a pedicure ($50), a pedicure for my daughter ($35 for children under 12) and an acrylic nail fill ($55).We didn't have anything fancy - regular pedicures, regular polish (not gel) on our toes and my nails were done two weeks ago and I had them done all the same colour with no designs.When I went to pay, they said it was $160. When I questioned the pricing, they said that the poster reflected their old" prices.I insisted that I wasn't going to pay more than the advertised price. At this point

When getting my nails done, the lady asked if I wanted my cuticles cut. I said yes, and she spent a couple minutes cutting them. Little did I know, cutting my cuticles added an extra 10 dollars onto my price. I have never been charged for cuticle cutting at any other salon and was disappointed that she did not warn me of the additional fee.

This was my second experience getting nails and heard two of my friends say they had a good experience… went in for a fill and she said new set if I wanted the coffin instead of the square I had on… so I was like ok and I wanted mint green ombré. We’ll she ripped off my old nails with a old fake nail slicing in-between my nail and the old gel and it’s still throbbing the next day. This cost me 100 $ and I’ll never go back there. Her name was May and they tried telling me I needed a eyebrow wax and made me feel bad when I said no!

Always have had a good experience, after the person left at the salon I went to I switched to T&T and am super happy! Can tell just by the way she started applying the acrylic that it would be good! Never have been disappointed in my nails, Katie always makes sure the shape is perfect and I am happy!

I had my nails done by Kate and I loved them. She was very kind and informative about the process since it was my first time. I had them done for a trip so when I returned Denis was able to fit me in to remove them. He was very nice and also kept me informed about the process of what he was doing. It was a great experience and I thought it was a fair price. Will definitely go back in the future.

I am supper disappointed with the results of my nails and they did not look anything like what I had wanted.( I did want a different shape than the picture) First the nail lady made my cuticles look horrible and was pressing down so hard when filing ! When she started doing the red design I had shown her, she started swirling around white nail polish until it had turned pink ! I stopped her and again showed her the picture of what I wanted and she wiped off the nail polish and tried again, basically doing the same thing. I told her it was okay if she didn’t know how to do that specific design and just to do the red instead, but for some reason she continued with the white swirling. I then said I just want red. On top of that the lady who did my nails had a bunch of fuzz on her hands and nails and it got all in my nails and even the shape is a little off ! It ended up costing me $95, apparently because of the design. I feel like I’ve been extremely ripped off because the nails I got done are definitely not worth $95.
