Honestly I'm so bad with names so I'm sorry right off the bat. We see a male Vet there who is fantastic. He explains everything so well and in normal" terms as well as gives suggestions for both of our dogs. He is awesome with our older 3 legged girl and our puppy loves him as well. The front end staff are amazing

The other day, I brought my sick dog here as her health suddenly took a tumble and our family vet was not available. Their receptionists were nothing but rude and uncaring. Their facilities were old & dated.And this Doctor caused my family a lot of grief as he had told us that it was responsibility to report us to the authorities if we did not put our beloved family dog down or take her to a 24 hr clinic.Now we love our dog, and we were heart broken when we heard this news. So he gave us a few recommendations for 24 hr clinics and sent us on our way.We decided to get our dog to the entire family to say goodbye & take her to our family vet so our dog can have her entire family & familiar faces be there for her.Now this doctor who had given us ultimatum, told us that we had options and just had to make sure we pursued them. What he did not tell us was that he was gonna report us to the police the minute after we left his clinic and did not go to the 24 hr clinic that he recommended but there is more than 1 24hr clinic in Edmonton but just because we did not give him the business & did not go to their companies clinic, he called the police.We just wanted the whole family to be there for her last moments and have a familiar face do what is so hard to see.This clinic appeared to me as money hungry & inhospitable. This is what is wrong with veterinary clinics. They just don’t care and I will never bring a family pet to this clinic ever again.

Dr Sherwood moved here after one of the other VCA animal hospitals had closed. We followed her here as she provides exceptional service and care for my pets. Sadly, I had to leave this clinic as I live in Fort Saskatchewan and was looking for something closer to my home. Thanks for everything VCA Canada North Central Animal Hospital!

***Graphic Picture****My dog had an interaction with a porcupine. They were really attentive and quick getting Tam sedated so she stopped rubbing, minimizing her pain and further damage.Her treatment was thorough and I felt like the staff really cares.The staff kept us updated throughout treatment and took the time to answer questions.Before and after pics.

I had brought my 2 year old dog in because she had stopped eating. She ended up needing IV fluids, antibiotics and pain killers due to an infection in her tooth. The vet that first helped me was okay, he wasn't overly friendly but he explained everything, and made the right decisions for my dog.She needs a dental procedure, but she also have a heart murmur that has to be investigated before she can go under anesthesia. Our ultrasound appointment isn't for another 2 months, so I have been panicking about what to do about her teeth in the meantime, as I did not want her to begin feeling painful again.I called North Central to see if I could get a refill on her prescription, hoping she can stay on pain meds until the ultrasound is completed and a dental can be booked. I was scared that I would have to pay to see another vet in order to get the refill, but the receptionist (Tara) was very friendly, professional and helpful. She consulted a veterinarian who came on the phone to help me (Dr. Lee Gears, I probably butchered the spelling) who was extremely helpful and friendly. He acknowledged my concerns and provided me with something that no one has been able to give me - assurance that my dog will be taken care of.This second experience has been especially appreciated because while all of this is happening, my other dog is also have veterinary issues - she has a suspected nerve injury, so I've also been caring for and paying for her at the same time.So, I hope I never have another emergency again but if I do, I will definitely be going here.

Craig Kosheluk Is the most honest vet that I have met over the years. I have a had decision to make, but he explained it to me in a way that made it easier to swallow, even though it was hard. I think his honesty, and that I trust him always makes me come back to there the receptionist are also very nice and willing to help and talk you through things. This wasn’t my original that but after seeing Dr. Craig for a few times with my I wouldn’t go anywhere else with him

We took our dog here when she broke her leg. They did the surgery and fixed her leg so that's great however we ended up paying $1500 more than they quoted us with no warning or explanation. When my girlfriend visited our puppy after surgery she noticed that her area was filthy and she had urine and feces on her near her stitches. When she pointed this out they handed her the supplies to clean it herself. While she is a medic and completely capable it was extremely unprofessional. I can only hope that if our dogs ever need emergency care again it's within our own vets working hours.

I took my first cat in for a checkup. The staff treated both my cat and myself well and provided services Wilhelmina, my cat, needed. They gave me tips on healthcare for Wilhelmina and recommended products for maintaining her healthy teeth. I went in May and will go there again for next year's checkup.Please note that I stopped by in July, 2023, to pick up cat food that they sell, and I noticed that they have a temporary staffing shortage. I recommend that you call ahead this month to ensure they are open.

I've been bringing my cat here for over 5 years and couldn't be happier with the level of care they provide. My cat has been examined multiple times, spayed and vaccinated all with VCA. Their frontline staff are all professional and provide excellent customer service. Their vet techs and vets are professional, knowledgeable, kind, gentle, and always go above and beyond for my little buddy. I would definitely recommend the clinic to anybody looking for a new place to get their pets taken care of. Thanks VCA!

I've brought my Gracie girl here for the last few years & I've never had bad... anything. They've not only treaty wonderful creature with care & compassion, they've treated me with tons of kindness. When I was concerned about Gracie or about the cost, my agony was put to rest by these great people. I'd recommend this vet clinic to everyone & their critters. Thx tons you guys.
