Chopstick Express

Got the tomato egg drop soup and the stir fried lamb with cilantro and onion. I was impressed. It is like good Chinese restuarant sit in style food in takeout and counter service form. The soup was hot, fresh, and just the right amount of saltiness with a fresh tomato tang. Also, the food is served in disposable golden paper bowls!!! How awesome is that! It's like you are in a nice reataurant but in takeout form! Loved it!

Presentation 5/5. Pretty box.Food 2/5: Lots of oil on the bottom, and flavor is just ok. It looks like the they bought the food from another place and just packed it for you.

I generally associate Chinese takeout with the following words: greasy, heat lamps, unhealthy, flimsy utensils. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at chopstick express.Located in the food court at Yaohan, ordering is a breeze thanks to the kiosk on the left side of the counter, providing service on English and Chinese. Meals are modestly priced with rice bowls priced at $10, or you can make a combo that includes your choice of one of three soups for under $12.Their takeout packaging is quite impressive for a food court shop. They provide a reusable plastic bag that looks like something you'd get at cactus club. Their cutlery package includes a small napkin (the weakest part of the utensils), a toothpick, a fairly thick spork, and a thick pair of chopsticks. I really have to praise the chopsticks because these aren't those cheap short chopsticks that you have to break apart yourself - these full length chopsticks are thick, enough that you could easily wash and reuse them for a long time.The food itself is good, but not great. Instead of flavor, I appreciate the fact that it's not greasy, and they give a ton of veggies in the rice bowl. The ratio of rice to side dishes is perfect, and they give a ton of food in the bowl. I was really curious as the bowl had some weight to it, so I put my rice bowl (#4 - chicken breast with cucumber) on a scale and it measured 1.2kg. I was so stuffed by the end of the bowl that it was a struggle to drink my soup. It's honestly quite a lot of food for a combo that only cost me $11.55 - drink not included, my own can of coke used for reference.I feel Chopstick Express is healthier than some of the other options in this food court and also provides good value for money.

I will 5 star for this satisfying visit. Ordered #9 Minced Beef takeout today. Presentation of delivery is fabulous with full box of items on rice, including stir fried veggies, eggs, diced beans, pickled kidney peas, chicken drumsticks, with a stylish fabric takeout bag can be reused for next visit (exclusive for in-person order in my guess, as all other types via app delivery use normal bags). Great taste and fast service, I waited about 6 minutes before my order became available. If you haven't tried them out yet, give it a chance and you won't be disappointed. They take cards for payment but prefer cash here.

Food combo that provides variety in one well packed lunch box. Generous portion and good taste. Got No.8 beef (actually look like ground beef), got 1 chicken thigh, tomato w/ eggs, beans with beef. Not too salty or greasy, but a bit spicy. I hope they have a spicy level of choice though. Update: it’s quite spicy!Credit card can use the machine. Front desk cash only. Call them to make an order. Have been coming here for a while. Big portions at a reasonable price. Delicious food.

Delicious! Had the cheese and spam, korean fried rice. Mild spice, has a nice kick to it. It came with a chicken drumstick, marinated quail eggs, sprouts and pickled veg. Would definitely order again!
