Cora Breakfast and Lunch
The last time I went here the service was slow and I was unhappy with my meal. Decided to try again today with hubby and kid for lunch. After being seated, I had to flag a server after 10 minutes. I ordered stacked pancakes with fruit and they had all u can eat crepes.My pancakes were COLD not at all warm. They took 15 minutes to bring our drinks, something in my water and glass, and then took 15 minutes to bring the 2nd serving of the all u can eat. Will not go back to this location.

We walked in 15 mins prior to closing without realizing it. We were seated. The service was very prompt and courteous. The food was really good. Plated properly too. We will back.

I came to this business expecting a nice experience with good service. As soon as me and my friend were sat we were not given water. No server had come to us for around 15-20 minutes. Another table was sat right after us and they were given a server right after they arrived with water and utensils. By the time we finally started placing our order, the table that had arrived much later after us were already receiving their food. We had to ask for our own waters with our order otherwise we wouldn’t have received even that. The waitress barely acknowledged us and only came to our table a total of three times to take our order, serve it, and take our plates. No refills on our waters and barely had someone else refill my coffee once. I’m not sure if it was because we are Americans, or if it was because of our race, but the whole atmosphere felt unwelcoming. None of the servers made eye contact with us nor would they ask us if everything was going well just as they did with all the other tables, or even acknowledge us. By the end of our meal they had us sit on the booth with no sign of us getting our bills. That’s in comparison to the other tables that were brought their bill right away to pay at their table. We had to go to the entrance to ask for our bills otherwise we would have to sit there for who knows how long. The food was good but it wasn’t worth for the experience we received. I do not recommend this place for anyone that wants both a nice meal and a pleasant, or at least decent service.

Cora Breakfast and Lunch
We went there at 7:45 am today for breakfast. Love the restaurant decorations very much, creative and cute. The restaurant is bright and cozy with big windows around. Food tastes nice but can be better. Server Michelle is very very nice, wear big smile all the time even though she’s the only person taking orders, serving and taking care of bills for 8 tables when she’s the only server since 6 am, too much work for her. The other server is only here at 8:30 am. Highly recommend this restaurant. We have 10 Add omelets and my husband have 10 Add skillet. Some comments said their service is very slow, to me, it depends what date and time you reach the restaurant. For us, this morning, it’s not super fast as there is only one girl serving everybody. I bet the restaurant wants to save some cost when the economy is not super booming. It takes us 20 mins to get our our food after order and it takes a little while for Michelle to come to greet us and place the order. But she keeps apologizing, so I chat with her, and know she’s the only server doing everything there before the next server comes at 8:30 am. She has very good spirit for such a young girl, no long face, hard to find these days

It’s a tad away from where we live and we finally had time to try it. So yummy indeed! The location was accessible to us, the food choices were incredible, the service was great and price was affordable. We will surely back and this is now one of my faves!

I recently visited this location of Cora Breakfast and Lunch and was blown away by the amazing food they served. The quality of the dishes was top-notch, and the quantity was so filling that I couldn't finish it all. Plus, the plating was simply beautiful - almost too pretty to eat!One thing to note is that the wait times can be quite long, especially on weekends, and there are no phone reservations available. However, the friendly and prompt service once you are seated made up for the wait time.The restaurant is also kid-friendly, with a variety of options available on the menu that kids will love. This is perfect for families looking for a fun and delicious brunch option over a lazy weekend.Overall, I would recommend this place if you have the patience to wait .

My friend and I are not from Canada, we are from the States. We are visiting Canada wanting to try new places and experience new food. We heard of this place and wanted to try it.We got into the restaurant and were greeted and sat but my server immediately left us without asking us for drinks or any menus. 5-10 minutes later, we got our menu. another 10 minutes later, I had to ask our waitress for water as we wait to be served. Once we hit the 20 min mark, she finally took our order. But, there was no eye contact, hardly any words being spoken, and she left without any acknowledgment.We were waiting for our food for about 20 mins but have noticed that two tables sitting next to us have ordered, eaten, and are about to pay as we are still waiting for our food. We also noticed the waitresses were talking, checking-up on, and laughing with other tables. Really rude in my opinion. We honestly felt like we were targeted in a way. Like they knew we were tourists.We finally got our food and as amazing as it tasted, our server didn’t want to help us at all. We haven’t seen her since we got our food. No asking if we wanted more water, napkins, or coffee. She wasn’t even making eye contact with us when she did stop by our table.Being in that situation was really heartbreaking. We came in good spirits and left feeling unwelcomed.We had to finally get up and pay at the counter and still no eye contact, no words, she just ripped our receipts up in front of us and we went about our day. I didn’t tip her because she didn’t do anything that’s worth me tipping.As a tourist, I didn’t appreciate the piercing unwelcomed feeling. I’m really hoping this place works on their staff and how they take care of their customers because that was truly rude and upsetting. As far as I know, I won’t be returning to this restaurant.

On January 2, 2023, my Mother and I ate at Cora Breakfast and Lunch at 15133 56 Ave Unit 101-102, Surrey, B.C. While I enjoyed the quality of the food (especially the fresh fruit), I did not enjoy the lipstick on my coffee cup nor the lack of a reply from management when I brought this to their attention (It's been over 6 months and I have yet to receive a reply to my email.). When I pointed out the rather disgusting discovery to Dagny" (on the receipt it showed Shaelee)
