Rowie from Janis care services , looked after my mother for about a year. She was compassionate, caring, friendly and extremely cognizant to my mother’s needs. I greatly appreciated the care that was provided to Mom. Thank You.

My family and I would like to thank Janis Care for their incredible care of our mom. We had used the services of two other care services before we hired Janis. The ladies didn't just look after our mom, they cared for her. When they were not helping Mom, they kept themselves busy helping in other areas. The healthy suitable meals were ready for the next day and the home was very clean. Even when we needed to extend their hours at the last minute, they ensured Mom was never alone. Their timely communication with us helped us make appropriate decisions quickly. We can't praise them enough for their care and professionalism. Thank you thank you thank you!

I found this company very personable. Kerris and Elionor are very compassionate and empathetic. Georna is really good, very friendly. I am very satisfied with her because she fills all my needs. She drives me to my appointments, cooks my meals, etc. They helped me with the AHS Program. I hope that more people can benefit from your services. I have appreciated them so much. Life will get better. I guarantee you that it will with the helpful and patient care of Janis Care. Mister Kerris met me at my house in SW Calgary. After a 40 minute talk and explanation of my long medical history, Elinor came into be with me just four days later. She provided me with enthusiasm and encouragement. And light housekeeping and assistance with bathing. I had a major stroke over 40 years ago and am limited in what I can do for and by myself. Taking in a member who has daily challenges was just too much for my daughter. This is where Janis Care came and provided trustworthy, patient, understanding and earnest help.I had been with other agencies before but Janis Care is the Best. And eager to assist in the areas where I need assistance. They are here to stay for me and my family, and I trust the services of Janis Care. And this is why I am writing my honest review. Safety and compassion are two of the goals of Janis Care.Elinor has her own gifts and it shows in her every move. I like to get out of the house but cannot drive a car and never will due to chronic neurological damage. Elinor understands this and safely walks me to her car. Now my days are filled with delight and calm when Elinor arrives. We have had many pleasant outings together to various places in Calgary and I trust Elinor and Rowie as I would my own mother. If it were not for Janis Care I would be an unhappy individual. I choose a life of fulfillment and happiness. And reaching my personal best. JCS has been a God send to my family and I. My mother has Parkinson's disease and we needed extra help for not only her but also my father who is her main caregiver. It's been a couple of months since we first started receiving services from JCS and it has made a tremendous impact on my mom and my dad. We would like to especially thank Keris and Rowie. Keris is always there to answer questions and listens/tends to our needs with compassion and understanding. Rowie has provided help to my parents on a weekly basis and my mother has commented to me that she is just like a family member. She has provided both my parents with loving care and tends to all of their needs. I have full trust in her and I haven't even met her! All I know is what my parents have told me and it's been nothing but rave reviews. To have my parents cared for in this way is so important to me and my sister. It puts our mind and worries at ease. There are not enough thank yous to match the appreciation we have! If you or your loved is in need of some high quality care, I highly recommend JCS.

The level of care that the founders of this company have given in the past with my mom is so rare. She was unfortunately very dependent and in the end of her life was extremely ill, needing around the clock care. Before, we had care provided by companies that AHS recommended and it was ridiculously frustrating for us. She was not happy until Rowie and Elinor entered our lives. Imagine if everyone who needed it had people caring for them the way this company is setting forth to do. I only hope it raises the benchmark for the rest to follow! Everyone deserves this level of care

I can not say enough about this company and their care givers! Every interaction was extremely professional from initially speaking on the phone with Kerris to our interviews with Rowie and Elinor. I could tell that they really cared about my elderly mother and were interested in giving her care with kindness and compassion. Phone calls were returned quickly and they were very accommodating to whatever schedule we needed. They were a safely net in our time of need.
