I cannot speak highly enough of this local business.John Melissa and Jeff are the most caring compassionate people at the worst time of your life.The building is well kept and tastefully decorated, the in house catering leaves nothing to be desired but above all the staff excel. Their greeting is kind and courteous, they are so receptive to your needs and perform all duties with professionalism.I am leaving my final resting place completely in their hands knowing my family will be well looked after during their time of grief.Thank you John Melissa and Jeff

The W. John Thomas Funeral Home handled the death of both of my grandparents and they did a fantastic job. They were so caring and compassionate and really made a difficult situation much easier. Everyone at W John Thomas went above and beyond for our family. They supported us through a heart breaking time with kindness, compassion and generosity. It was really comforting to know my dad was in such good hands. They helped us put together a beautiful memorial and answered our endless questions while handling the logistics for us. The Staff at W. John Thomas Funeral Home is not only professional but compassionate in their approach. In both instances, we found them to be considerate and knowledgeable as they explained, advised, and performed the arrangements for the transfer, the cremation, and the interment of our family members.Their approach made a difficult period less stressful.

Saying goodbye to a loved one has to be one of the most difficult things we will ever have to do. Unfortunately, this past June, we had to do just that. My husband George, lost his brother Joseph Richards. Joe’s viewing and funeral were held at W J Thomas Funeral Home. At a time when you are most vulnerable, heartbroken and grieving, you need to surrounded by family and friends to be comforted. The staff at W J Thomas were wonderful, caring and respectful. We stayed well past 9 p.m. the evening of Joe’s viewing but, never did we feel rushed to leave, or made to feel uncomfortable for lingering. The reception they provided after the funeral was exceptional. There was an abundance of food, with an assortment of sandwiches to pastries and fruit, several types of beverages and not to be forgotten the friendly staff who were always around to answer any questions we had.W J Thomas provided excellent service at one of the most difficult times for our family.Thank you from George & Shirley Richards

During the most hardest time in my life, John, Melissa and Jeff went above and beyond to take care of my mom. The took care of her like she was family. They made the process so easy and the day was absolutely perfect ... I can't thank them enough for everything they did.

The male facilitator was very short with any family members who were not siblings of the deceased. The female was very abrupt and complained when we asked for the signing book. She had the book in the office and was very irritated when asked for the book to get the remaining family to sign it. She wanted to close up and go home. She was not very helpful. This was a bit shocking as we never expected this type of poor service during such a emotional time. The one bright spot was the caterer. Her pastries were delicious and she was very friendly.

W. John Thomas Funeral Home arranged my grandfather’s (Joe Richards) funeral this past June. They really took the time to get to know us as a family and made a very difficult time less stressful. Very thankful John, Melissa and Jeff were there to guide us through this process and put together a wonderful tribute to my grandpa. I really feel they went above and beyond for my family.

My family and I were very grateful for everything John, Melissa and Jeff had done for my grandmother. The whole process was done with compassion, dignity and professionalism, they were straight with us the whole way.They were very attentive to everyone that had attended, and acknowledged all friends and family like they were their own.If the unfortunate happens to your family I strongly suggest using them as your funeral directors.

My husband passed away 7 years ago. While he was dying Melissa came to our home to help him plan his funeral. He wanted it to be the way he wanted. There were 100 guests at his funeral and everyone called me after the day to compliment me on what a great experience they enjoyed. It was exactly the way Bill wanted. The reception are was set up with pictures and video of Bill’s life. The food was outstanding. Funerals are not supposed to be enjoyable events but John,,Melissa and Jeff made it thoroughly enjoyable fir all guests. It is 7 years passed and John and Melissa still call and check up on me to make sure I am okay. I am extremely grateful to them for making a what should have been a sad day into a peaceful celebration of Bill’s life. I will be forever grateful.
