People are really friendly and they have lots of talent on campus. Kudos to those who have sacrificed to have such a fine University and community. They are very welcoming to international students, who seem to comprise the majority that I have met.

High quality post secondary education. The overall student-professor ratio is 13:1. This allows the caring and patient professors to spend time helping each student understand what they are learning. The staff at Burman are also very helpful. Burman has a close knit university campus. It was established in 1907 & has been preparing students to serve their communities and God ever since. There are over 30 clubs on campus in which students may participate. The Burman University Choral Union is a particularly well loved group. The have toured all over the world performing with audiences varying from elementary schools to the famous Carnegie Hall. Burman is a fully accredited university and is also the only Seventh-day Adventist University in Canada. Come check it out !

We came here and stopped by just to see. The building here is definitely the old one, a typical SDA university building worldwide. It is similar to the one we have in Indonesia, even the display is the same. I guess because SDA follows what Ellen G white says to have a university not in the big city but out of town. I don't know if I will send my kids here for school, but this school is a good one and looks very peaceful. It would be nice if we could talk to one of the workers, probably in the future. But anyway, it was a nice quick stop.

Terrible Deans at this University, they do not care about their students and worry about themselves. If you want your son or daughter to be forgotten and starve, send them to this University. Students with COVID have complained that the Deans are not bringing food to them during their quarantine. These students had to take extreme actions to get food on their tables in such a state. I cannot generalize the actions of some over the entire school. But I can generalize the fact that this University is forgetting about the foundations of our church. Easier to become corrupt since its an Adventist school and students feel safe with what they are being taught since it is an Adventist school. If your son/daughter is not strong in Faith, their spiritual views will become Liberal here. This school is introducing corrupt teachings. The young theologists that leave this school, and church members are shook and disappointed with the introduction of strange teachings. They don't support the health message and do not accommodate your student's dietary restrictions. Vegans/Vegetarians are left to eat whatever is left from the meal that is generally served, there is no specific meals to feed them what they need. I am sure this University can be used by God's purpose if they apply the foundations of the church and change some faculty members who have forgotten about God and forget about the well being of their students. There are very good teachers here, but I am saddened that the unacceptable actions of some may put them in bad light. As a youth-adult SDA leader of the church, I advise my youth to think 7 times before coming to this school. Its a beautiful campus to go to but all we can depend on now is the strength of our own faith. Do not depend your faith on others, depend it on you and your God.Reply to your Comment:My apologies, my emphasis was on Vegans. They pay so much for a meal plan and sometimes only get to eat salads? I have friends that are additionally paying for food outside the school to sustain themselves with necessary nutrients as vegans. Is that fair? Not at all. The Canadian Military feeds me 7 times better than what we would eat at Burman because they focus on the dietary needs of each of the dietary restrictions, including religious.Lastly, don't try to hide the fact that students were left without food and forgotten in their dorms while they had COVID. If what you say really aligns, then several students wouldnt have complained about the fact that they didnt have a plate of food for a single day coming from the so called responsable Deans. The only reason they dudnt starve and die from that sickness is because they had to break Governemnt Regulatory rules of abondaning quarantine just to be able to eat! Thats terrible! The only solution to all this is creating a survey for your students. Collect feedback and see how to improve. I want this school to succeed! We are family! But at the moment some staff isnt focusing on the well-being of its students. And that is very very sad...

The smaller class sizes makes it easier to learn. A lot of the professors are very helpful if you struggle in courses. My time on campus was very memorable!
