After having employed Kumar Construction to build a set of steps and small deck in front of the house I immediately turned to him later to install hardwood flooring inside the house on the stairs and second floor. My confidence was rewarded, as the work was done just as carefully and excellently as my first experience, and within the agreed time frame.In addition, at one point early in the discussions, when he had submitted his written estimate, I misunderstood it, thought that the hardwood was not included, emailed him saying that I accepted his figure and, yes, I would pay the cost of the wood. He immediately called to correct my misunderstanding, emphasizing that the hardwood was included in the quoted price. That is the sort of response which builds trust in a business.I will definitely go back to Kumar Construction a third time.

I would highly recommend Kumar Construction for any and all contractor needs. He and his team came through at a very fair and reasonable price to paint my home and do some patching work that needed to get done before renters moved in.The quality of the work and the quality of the paint used were very good for the price paid. His communication with me to let me know where he was with the work was great - no issues at all.Any future work that I need to get done, I will be calling Kumar Construction. As a first-time home buyer who bought a bit of a fixer upper, I was a little overwhelmed with all the work that needed to get done on my new place before I moved in. However, Kumar Construction was great at providing me with guidance about my project (flooring) as well as even helping me out with some advice about tasks that didn’t have anything to do with the project that they were working on. The entire process was smooth, and he was very accommodating to my schedule (ex. respecting condo rules and being patient with me getting the products I wanted him to install) and responsive to any questions I had. They worked on my basement, and the job they did and the communication between us and him was above and beyond what I expected. Step by step explanation on what's going and any changes being made.
