Shady Rest RV Park

Great campground. I came in on a motorcycle and they have covered tent spots that I could park my bike in beside my tent so nothing got wet if it rained. Clean hot showers were very nice with good water pressure. I will definitely be stopping here again when I come back through.

The Shady Rest RV Park is simply great. Harald, the new owner since a couple months, he does a wonderful job on site. Lovely RV full hookup spaces for any size & clean and roomy washrooms (toilets and showers). We just stayed over night, but we can recommend the Shady Rest for any duration. This place is a RVer's oasis after traveling for a long distance. The place is immaculately maintained and such a delightful place. The owners are friendly and very helpful, even if it's just for a nice casual chat.The sites are nice and large and level. There's no doubt that this campground is one of the most respectable facilities I've ever used in my long history of RV camping.

Wonderful campground along the Yellowhead highway. Clean sites and friendly hosts. Not the most spacious sites but we’d gladly stay here again.

This RV park is so well kept, planned out well and just delightful. Water pressure is great. We had a 29 ft travel trailer and truck. Fit perfect in the spot given. Plenty of room on both sides for pull out and awning. Plenty of places to walk the dogs. Owners are so friendly and hospitable. They helped us figure out how to connect our Roku TV to their wifi (no other campsite had offered that along our trip to Alaska and back to Washington) Greatly appreciated. Grounds are very well maintained. The owner was grooming our gravel pad with a rake since the other people had just left. Nice grassy areas and woodsy areas for the dogs to go potty. Will definitely be back.

We stayed at Shady Rest for 3 nights. After traveling in northern Canada and Alaska, this was a refreshing stop. Easy access, easy site to get into, helpful owners, very tidy and clean. The flowers were abundant and beautiful. Wi-fi and phone service were both good. Laundry room was clean. Sorry we forgot to take photos!

We visited and stayed here July 2022. They were booked full. We were tired and been driving since early from the Skagway area. All they had was a 15 Amp site by a large open area and made room for us. Nicest, friendliest owners we have ever met. I smelled a propane leak coming from my bottles and the hose fitting was bad and needed/wanted to replace both hoses. I ask the manager where I could get some new hoses and he offered to take me to get them. My wife had clothes to wash/dry and they carted her on their golf cart to and fro the onsite laundry room. The next morning they assisted me getting access to the dump station for my tanks and we were off again. Houston BC, Canada and Shady Rest RV park is a really nice place and management/ owners were even better. Thank you for the great experience.
