I just finished the weekend bootcamp for the Bridal and Fashion makeup class. I did quite a bit of research and most classes were inconvenient timing for me. They would be one or two nights a week for months, which didn't fit my schedule. Paramita Academy of Makeup seemed to fit my schedule much better being either a weekend or only five days. Although I didn't know anyone that took this course, I signed up. The next day I was in Shoppers Drug Mart and the gal at the makeup desk was a graduate and was very vocal about how much she enjoyed the course. This gave me a lot of confidence. When I arrived of the 6 other students in the class, 5 of them had signed up based on a referral from someone they trusted. Not every course can boast this. The teacher was fantastic, the material for learning was very helpful. I feel confident enough, as did everyone else in the class, to go out and do what we were taught. This is a must have course for anyone who wants to learn to apply makeup like a professional without all of the drama and with other students who want to be there to learn. You will not regret the money you spend and I can't wait take the other classes this fall.

I really recommend Paramita Academy as you learn a lot about natural and soft bridal makeup looks. Also, Jessica is very sweet and very helpful. She gives us a lot of makeup tricks that are very useful for our career. I really enjoyed this course.

I just took the 3 hour personal makeup class with Genita and I just regret not taking it earlier!!! I thoroughly enjoyed each minute of the class! Genita is a wonderful instructor and amazing person. She just made the class truly enjoyable and showed us so many little tricks that are super important. I have been doing makeup on myself for 20 years now and I can’t believe I have been doing so many things incorrectly! Like very minor but things that could make a HUGE difference. I watched tons of YouTube videos for years yet I could not achieve the results. But after taking the class yesterday I knew exactly where I’ve been going wrong! I went to a party right after the class and people kept on commenting how beautiful and fresh my makeup looked. I could see the difference myself as I wear makeup every single day.Overall I feel lucky that I found Genita’s class and I just hope she offers more classes in the future!

I'm a recent grad of Paramita in Toronto. Genita was my instructor and was amazing! A very fun and friendly environment to learn in. Easy to follow directions and very helpful overall. You are able to choose your own products for the make up kit. You are given suggestions but nothing is forced upon you.

I attended Paramita seven years ago, and I have done makeup for proms, weddings, photo shoots, and film since graduation.Jessica was a knowledgeable and fantastic instructor. I really enjoyed the small class size, which allowed for effective one-on-one learning.The atmosphere of the classroom was comfortable, and we all had a lot of fun under Jessica's professional yet personal guidance.I had always been interested in makeup, and I was confident to work in the industry after finishing the course.I highly recommend Paramita Academy of Makeup!

I took the 3 hour personal makeup class at Paramita and I’m so glad I did! The instructor Genita was super helpful and gave us step by step instructions on how to do a day and evening look. The class size was quite small, so Genita was able to spend time with each student and provide us with personalized recommendations. Overall, the class was super fun and I learned a lot. Would highly recommend it!

I had an amazing time doing the Fashion and Bridal Bootcamp at Paramita. It was a small class so we had lots of one on one attention from our instructor, Genita, who was awesome. I felt very free to be creative and I also felt safe to make mistakes, which is crucial (I believe) for something like this. By the end of our bootcamp, it felt like we had all been friends for years, and I now have eight new friends I can chat about makeup with, go to for assistance with jobs, etc. I would recommend this class to anyone, it was money well spent for me and you will NOT be disappointed.

Just finished the Beauty and Bridal makeup class~Had an amazing time learning from simple to colorful makeup looks as well as extra tips and tricks. Jessica is an incredible teacher. She's very friendly, knowledgeable and she's always there when you need her throughout the course. Would highly recommend this to anyone!

Loved this class so much! Was very convenient for me (I took the condensed 3day class) having it over the weekend was perfect! Our instructor Genita was amazing! Such a hands on leader, explaining everything in such a way that made it so easy to understand! The other students were so great also, we all had so much fun! I highly recommend Paramita academy for anyone looking to become certified or sharpen their skills!

Great coarse!! Very professional! Would hundred percent recommend you taking this course. It gives you loads of information. She gives you a lot of makeup tips and tricks in a professional way. She has a lot of experience and she teaches you from her experience. Jessica is very professional and a very good instructor to learn from. My experience with this makeup course was amazing and I want you to have the same.
