Mont Cascades

The Mont Cascades Lodge burned in 2021 but they have set up a more than adequate series of temporary buildings to ensure skiers can fully enjoy their day on the hill.Update for January 2023. MC added two more temporary buildings and food truck. Well done!

Nice parc with good rides, but more shade and comfort would improve the experience. It's really unpleasant to not have a water fountain to fill up your water bottle. We did not appreciate the non refundable purchase policy" either. But apart from these negatives

Beautiful place, reasonable price for water park. Lots of picnic tables. Most importantly free parking, not like Calypso. Beautiful summer views. Not too crowded. Don’t waste your money at Calypso. Go to Mont Cascade.

Great location. Good prices. Best laid back setting summer and winter - not super commercialized more people oriented and friendly. You do not feel like your every move is tracked. No lineups. No electronic pass system. Feels like the 1970s-80s again. Just LOVE it. Thank-you!

Wonderful hiking trails to see the Fall colours. They have a wide variety of different difficulty trails, easily marker and maps throughout the trail.There's trails that take you along the river and then up to the lookouts and when you get up there, the views are stunning. You can faintly see Ottawa/Gatineau city if the conditions are good. Highly recommended!

Really nice place for family to enjoy little moments

Great day. Our 6yr old Granddaughter had a great time on the water slides with her Dad.It was an extremely hot day. I wish there were more umbrellas to shelter under. It's great having so many picnic tables. The only suggestion is , please, can you put water misters on the red carpet up the stairs to the washrooms and remove the black rubber mats on those very hot days. Many children were screaming crying because they were in bare feet and they were getting burnt. My granddaughter had very red feet from the burn, and my husband, who ran over to grab her, had blisters on the bottom of his feet . Even if there is a WARNING SIGN for those extremely hot days. Please wear shoes going up those stairs. There was a little one no more than 2 yrs old just screaming because she was standing on the black rubber mats burning her little feet. Just a thought, other wise it was a great day.

About 40 minutes drive from Ottawa. It was not a busy the day I went. So no line ups and ample parking. It is on the smaller side with about 6-7 slides. The surroundings are beautiful. Very laid back and fun for kids. A bit pricey though. Overall great day spent there.

A great Ski hill within 1/2 hr of downtown Ottawa. Runs are varied, greens, lots of blues, a few blacks. The hill as a whole features a pleasing variety of drops and skill levels. A nice terrain/feature park. In the summer it is a lively water slide park so having a chance to see the colourful slides in winter, while skiing down, is a treat! Staff friendly and efficient. Facilities are currently in progress of being upgraded as well! :)Overall, a great hill!

Reasonable entrance fees to this modest yet great little water park. Even on the busiest of days the lines are tolerable. There's great options for all ages and group sizes. There is lots of tables and you can get food and drink here. Parking is plentiful and free. Beautiful setting to spend the day enjoying summer waterslides.
