My wife and I stopped here briefly on a long road trip to stretch our legs and boy, I wish I hadn't. Within moments of stepping out of the car with my 4 month old and our dog, we were greeted by a racist older gentleman who worked there and started questioning why we were there and if we were Toronto folk who don't respect people's property".I was so taken aback by his comments that I just let him ramble on and continue making generalizations about us. Absolutely uncalled for in this day and age."

went to this place a couple weeks ago.The sales people/owners or whoever managing the store are extremely racist,rude and unfriendly.Like any other nursery they have many plants,they won't let you to look around and decide what you may want to buy.If you don't decide what to buy in your first 5 minutes into the store you may be shown the door.They don't have any plants that others don't have.On top of that they have put up signs that they have vegetable plants, but when you go inside you will need your own version of gps to help you navigate and in the end you won't find any.. reason?? they don't have any!... don't waste your time going to this racist store rather enjoy a nice walk around Lake simcoe which is nearby.The two stars are only for the flowering plants that they have.

Bit slow in service. I guess they are short staffed. Also it is bit inside to get out is a little hassle.

Great store

I thought this place was good until I got my stuff for my garden from Thomas Greeneries this year. Also I bought four fruit trees from Spruce Hill. Three out of four didn't make it because they didn't have enough root base and when I took them back they charged me half price for three Replacements. That's a rip-off if you ask me.

I love shopping at Spruce Hill!! The owner Nancy is so knowledgeable, friendly and funny! Her and her husband are hardworking people and put their heart and soul into their business. I live about an hour a way from this garden centre, but I purposely make the trip out there as they have beautiful plants and amazing products. Highly recommend!
