A longtime staple in Toronto's Financial District, Ho Ga offers affordable lunch bento boxes to keep you going for the remainder of the day.All the options are less than $10 with a wide variety of meats, tempuras, and side dishes to build your custom bento box. They have favorites such as Beef Bulgogi, Pork/Chicken Katsu, and Shrimp Tempura to pair with sides such as japchae (cold glass noodles) and kimchi. All their bentos do come with two pieces of gyoza dumplings which adds a nice surprise to an affordable and filling lunch.Be prepared to queue in the line as it can get quite busy during the lunch rush, so be sure to go with a few colleagues or bring a book as you wait in line!

use to come here pre pandemic and it was super bang for buck. now post pandemic the portion size has decreased significantly. the rice portion is half a scoop and the bulgogi beef is thinly scattered on top. so sad to see a business decrease their quality. i rather you increase your price and give the right amount then decrease your quality. wait time is also 20+ mins. not worth it and wont be coming back sadly.

I thought it was not possible to pay $7-$8 for lunch nowadays in the downtown financial district core of Toronto. Ho Ga Oriental Cuisine definitely made it possible. This place is even cheaper in terms of price than fast food places. No wonder it draws huge crowds during the weekday lunch rush hour.They have many different choices from chicken katsu to bulgogi to curry. I usually order the chicken katsu and they offer 2 sides choices like coleslaw, pasta, jap chae noodles, salad, etc. I find that the earlier you go before the lunch rush around 11:30am, the more choices you have for sides.Good portions. Cash only though.

Small mom and pop shop serving delicious Korean platters. Adequate portions although for north American standards it's small. There's a queue as everything is made fresh and by 2 ppl.

$6-8 (CASH ONLY) for a filling meal in the financial district is almost impossible to find, but here it is! The japchae was my favourite part of the meal, really well made! Gotta make sure to add some of their gochujang-based sauce on top of whatever you get.

Good food, cheap prices ($7.50 and $8.50 before tax). Menu was shortened as a result of pandemic (no bibimap at time of this review). Line up is long so either go early (before 11:30am) or late (still a line up at 2pm). No seating at the shop due to pandemic. There is seating in the food court to the south of it, towards St Andrew station (University and King West).

Super good value for a Korean meal in the PATH. Be sure to come here with cash and save 50 cents - this is on an already <$10 meal. Unreal in 2022.I've yet to try the katsu as the lineups are pretty long, however the bulgogi and korean chicken are solid options. I wish there was a larger assortment of sides, the 2 that you get with your main are still fine.

5 stars only because the sweet grandma who serves everyone is amazing but their menu has shrunk and portions decreased compared to pre pandemic.I took my 3 boys here and they enjoyed their meals!

Small takeout place in the PATH with very affordable Korean takeout. All of the items were made fresh and most are ready to go.All menu items are fairly affordable and is recommended to come early as it gets busy very quickly (lineups can start even before 12pm). The staff are extremely helpful and friendly to help with your order.
