I have to say that I was excited to go here since it has changed owners as my last visit wasn't the greatest as it took over an hour for our food. This time it took just as long and it wasn't the greatest, I know things are more expensive now but $75 for lunch for 3 I think is a bit high. When you pay $7 for 7 onion rings that's a little expensive and over $20 for a burger. The servings are not equal to the price, very small servings. One customer that was there for a pick up order on his lunch break had to leave and send someone else back for his food because it took too long to get. People shouldn't have to wait for an hour or more for food!

Great Pizza 3 and 3/ 4 stars..Ladysmith pizza. They are generous with topping. I tried the Hawaiian. Pizza. I will definitely go back to try their other pizzas. They have a rustic relaxing indoor restaurant. There is a patio with ample seating for those who want to enjoy a warm summer evening. real gem with plenty of parking. ..more information to come as l explore the menu. ..

The check-in/out and service is a little strange, as there's no one on site to meet you or assist you. There wasn't much for TV options either. We didn't have the opportunity to eat at the restaurant.

Brian is extremely unorganized! I had to repeatedly provide the same information over a period of time for the rooms i booked, He does not care about customer service. One guest i booked for had plumbing issues. When brought to Brian's attention he proceeded to tell them what to do to manually flush the toilet!!! No attempt to repair it or offer a discount. In fact he was extremely rude to the person! There was no shampoo in the entire hotel.BRIAN IS A MONEY MONGRE WITH ABSOLUTELY NO BUSINESS SKILLS OR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!!!!The restaurant is great, which leads me to believe that he should have let his wife look after the entire business.Fortunately The Ladysmith has sold and Brian will no longer be a massive problem!!

Omg the beds are older than me (36) feels like your sleeping on a wooden pallet. Rooms are old and not updated; mine has a hole in the wall. Don’t recommend staying here if you don’t want to wake up feeling like you got hit by a bus. The only thing good about this hotel is how quiet it is and there’s a cafe attached to it. They only serve frozen deep fried food, but this being the only restaurant in town; I guess you get what you get.

Middle of the road. Advertised price for breakfast at the door didn't match price on bill or behind servers, very meh" Overall. The flies buzzing around and landing on you was quite a nuisance. Heard my order was up and waited another 4 minutes while the server just chatted away."

We have be fortunate enough to spend a few months in this quaint little town , and a month at Gerdie’s … Janna the owner is an exceptional person and tended to our every need , the staff in restaurant are amazing and always greeted with a smile . The home cooked meals were nothing short of fabulous . Janna we hope some day we get to come back and stay with you again.

I stopped for lunch on my way to Drumheller. I had the Roadhouse Burger (cheese and bacon) and it was really good, you could tell it was fresh and homemade. The fries were okay"

In love with the new pizza menu. Jana has done a very amazing job with a new menu. Her staff are also great friendly with the customers and service is always served with a smile. Way to go to the Gerdie’s team

My friend and I came here for dinner. We both upgraded our meals to have gravy and cheese on our fries (so a poutine). We were charged the full cost of our meal which included a side (both chose fries), then an additional $9.00 each to upgrade to a poutine. So we were charged our full price for the meals, then full price for a poutine.Technically we should have then received our meals, with the side of choice (fries), and then a full poutine.We won’t be back until they figure their pricing out.
