The duty free in Calgary International Airport is one of the few lowlights of this otherwise good airport. The selection is at best standard but I'd say is sub par. Attaching the picture of Canadian souvenirs section. You'd expect an international airport to carry a good selection of local gifts but nope.

I traveled to Calgary to visit my gf and wanted to get my father a watch on the way back. She asked me for my boarding pass, which was strange (why for a purchase??). She explained everything informatively, and I now know.

You can only purchase here if you are traveling internationally. Funny, it's located where the international and domestic gates are.
