Valentina's Alteration

Valentina altered my wedding dress in 2020 and it was INCREDIBLE. She paid such close attention to every detail, and took so much care to make my dress perfect. Everything from how the boning laid to how my skirt fell, she paid attention to and adjusted to make it perfect. I could not more highly recommend her work. She is a master of her craft, creative, professional, and magnificently artful. If you want the BEST, she's your person!

Valentina did an amazing job on my wedding dress. I ordered my dress from Etsy and I loved it, but it was a little tight. She met with me 4 times! Her eye for detail made it so you would never know I had my dress altered. Thank you, Valentina!

I was lucky enough to find Valentina after a Google search. Reading the positive reviews convinced me that she was a professional who takes pride in her work. The futon is 60 years old and made in Japan. Normal wear and tear took a toll on the futon and I wanted to have it restored. It’s been passed on from my grandmother in Kagoshima to my mom, me, and now my youngest daughter. I hope it will stay in the family for many more generations. Valentina did an excellent job and I can’t thank her enough. I recommend Valentina’s Alterations if you are looking for quality work. She is very fair in pricing as well.

Valentina altered my wedding dress, and her work was beyond exceptional. It turned out absolutely perfect the bustle she did is beautiful! I forgot to tell her my wedding was outside in the grass, so we altered the length to the floor. About a week before the wedding I tried my dress on again and realized it would be way too long in grass. Valentina told me to come right then even though it was a weekend day and very short notice. She was so accommodating and kind about it and didn’t even charge me. I highly recommend her if you need your wedding dress altered.

I ordered my dress online and unfortunately, the entire top needed to be resized so I was unsure what to expect but it turned out absolutely perfect! She did such an amazing job altering the beading in my dress and I have never felt more beautiful in my entire life. Valentina saved my wedding dress! After numerous issues with the first wedding dress that I ordered, I ended up with the sample dress from the store. She saw me through the whole alterations process from the first dress to the sample. By the time we realized that I was going to have to wear the sample dress, the wedding was 38 days away. Valentina not only altered the sample dress and matching overskirt in time, but she crafted a 144 inch veil from lace that we ordered specifically to match the dress. The veil is truly a piece of artwork! This picture doesn't do it enough justice. Because of Valentina I had my dream dress with my dream veil on my wedding day. I literally cannot thank her enough for all of the hours, attention to detail and patience that she put into this project. Not to mention how personable and understanding she is! I was in town for Thanksgiving and needed a dress hemmed for a wedding I am flying to directly from Boise. Valentina got me in within a day of calling and my dress was finished ahead of schedule; two days early in fact. My dress is perfect! I am always hesitant trying a new seamstress as I have had very bad experiences in the past but I could not be happier with the work done. I will update with a photo from the wedding.
