Craig and his team renovated our 100 year old farmhouse. We levelled the foundations, built an addition, and tore parts of the house down to the studs and re built it. Craig was communicative the whole way through and brought many excellent design ideas to the table. He is very accommodating and easy to work with.If you are looking for a quality craftsman I would recommend Craig.

Craig was hired to put on a sizable extension to my home and from day one I knew that I had the right company for the job.Not only did Craig and his crew do the foundation, floors, roof tie-in, Craig also built beautiful fir frames for the many rake windows in the living room.I was truly impressed with the craftsmanship and it was a pleasure to work with Craig and his crew.5 stars all the way!

Craig has done several projects for us over the years. He built us a custom workshop/garage to house a large vintage car collection; and later replaced all of our decks. Craig is methodical and takes great pride in his workmanship - always making sure things are done right and that everything fits and looks as it should. We have some other projects coming down the pipe and would not even consider looking for another builder as long as Craig is able to take them on. We had Barnes Custom Homes renovate our newly purchased home in the Cowichan Valley. Work included a reconfiguration of the living room/kitchen space, a complete overhaul of the kitchen including upgrade and installation of new electrics and plumbing. Also complete refurbishing of master bed and bathroom with new closet space, custom sliding doors, new fixtures, heated floor and custom tile work.Craig's crew were all great trustworthy workers, pace was good, and in addition to the interior woodwork, all of Craig's sub-trade connections were excellent, including electrics, plumbing, tile and painting.
