So..the wading pool is great, I mean it's perfect for my toddler. It's about 1 foot deep & at the deepest part I'd say maybe 2 feet? My issue is that the staff clear the pool every 30 minutes to add chorine! Yes..EVERY 30 minutes! So everyone has to not only vacate the pool but the fenced in pool area as well, which is a little trickier when u have a 16 month old.It takes about 10 min for the chlorination to be done but surely this could be done every 45 mins or even hourly?? I'd be happy with 45 but every 30 makes the outing much more work.Great park with playground & wading pool with benches scattered around & a couple picnic tables that are sheltered from sun. Also a fenced in dog park

Nice and large dog park! We took our dog here for her first Shiba meetup, and she had so much fun meeting and playing with new friends! My only critique is that there was an aggressive dog (I don’t think they were part of the meetup) that was starting things with some other dogs, which made me worry for mine. But that’s not something that the park itself can control, only that dog owner can. Otherwise, we had a nice time at this park.

This place rocks outside field for small dogs and inside for big ones. A lot of shade and comfortable seats.

Rating this park based on my experience at the off leash dog enclosures. There are 2 enclosures, a bigger general area and another for small dogs only.I think this park would be great when the dog park isn’t busy, however I went on a beautiful sunny day on the weekend and the dog park was overcrowded. It seems like there were multiple altercations between dogs.I took my dogs out shortly after to avoid any injuries.

I found this place by chance a couple of months ago and we returned on the weekend. Fairly quiet. The sun was shining, and the playground is under the trees (so nice!). If you have a dog, there is also a dog park next door too. A wading pool is there too, but it was empty on Saturday. Tennis courts, swings, sandbox, even a portable potty is available!

Lots of dogs your dogs can play with. People are also very very kind with their dogs in having them played on by people also. It's also has a good community of dog owners here. See all the pups during an 11am play time at random times. Good neighbourhood, good people.Dogs will run, sniff and bark at other dogs because that's how they are. This is a good place to teach your dog to be a dog.Note that the water is turned off due to winter months.Place also has tennis and play ground also for humans.

Great dog park. Large area for dogs to run full out. Separate area for small dogs. Lots of seating, shade, and sun. Water easily accessible. Grass and pebble areas. Double secure gate.

It was our first dog park and is Norton's favorite dog park. Water, separate big and small dog areas, people are friendly and the dogs are well behaved compared to other parks. No restrooms in the entire park, playground, picnic, tennis, and seasonal pool and no restrooms, seems uncaring

This dog park was a pleasant surprise in terms of location and size for an off-leash area in a major urban area. It is fenced with double gates, garbage cans and even a doggie water fountain. It is frequented by a lot of locals that walk here, so there is enough parking to be had. Folks have added chairs too, convenient if you are tired. There seems to be a lot of newer pet people here, and it's one of those places where the humans stand in one place while the dogs run around, so more dog conflicts than one might like. It can get a bit muddy due to its high use. Heads-up that you will need to control the barking as there is a hospice close by. Overall though, one of our regular stops in South Burnaby.
