Nice place to grab a movie. They have a really nice and comforting atmosphere. Their seats recline automatically which is a huge plus. Their seats are comfy and very high end. There are ample space for moving between seats and navigating. The cashiers were numerous which made waiting in line done in a jiffy. The food in the movies can be a bit pricey as of any movie venue. They also have an arcade with handfull of enjoyable games to play.

Best seating a theatee can have. Used to be the best in town. Now, it just has third-rate movies, no box office bangers, and movies most people won't be paying to see in theaters(save for a few golden ones). Usually, i would review this as higher, but I can not rate it better than 2 stars anymore, and that's only because of the seating.

My derriere prefers this type of theater experience. I watched the new Avatar movie recently and my buttocks didn't even notice the three hours of sitting. Much better experience than at the other movie theater in Nanaimo. Expensive snacks as usual, staff are pleasant and helpful. The washroom set-up is weird. The main washrooms are upstairs. The two accessible washrooms, on the main floor, do not have clear signage.

Seating in auditorium 1 was good. And no issues with the image or sound of the movie. But there are two items worth discussing:1) Popcorn tasted like it had been sitting there for too dang long. Tasted like day-old popcorn.2) The theatre was cold. Very cold.I know Cineplex’s stock has been in the tank but can you guys at least turn the heat up a bit? And make better popcorn seeing as how much you charge for it? Bare minimum the popcorn should be hot. Maybe it would be warmer if you turned the heat up?Just trying to think of solutions.

Great little theatre! Pleasant staff, well maintained, (ie. clean, both in the lobby and the theatres) full concession, an arcade containing classics and new games alike, and all the latest blockbusters with reserved seating. This is not a VIP or alcohol serving theatre.The screen sizes are standard but the room itself is smaller with a lower number of seats that are spaciously arranged; so you're not too close to your neighbours, but aren't far out of reach from your film buddies. The seats themselves are large, silent, electric recliners, which will make the film going experience enjoyable regardless of where you sit, it even makes front row (there are no front pit seats) more than bearable. The design and aim behind the seating here is to provide the best possible experience for the audience rather than packing in viewership. The picture quality is excellent, and the sound is balanced and crisp, no jarring, bombastic audio. All in all, two thumbs up!

Nice theatre, nice recliner seats. The only issue I had is that I went to see a movie one week prior in Theatre #4 and there were several pixel spots on the screen (most noticeable when it was a dark background) likely due to a problem with the projector. When I went to see another movie a week later (again Theatre #4) the spots were still there. It would be great if this could get fixed, then it would be a 5 star review.

I drive up here from Duncan every time I want to watch a movie. The chairs recline and have nice cushion on them. Great place for date night and I prefer this cinema over going to Victorias cinemas. The movie rooms seem clean bathrooms could use work but the staff are on it if you ask. Safe are nice and friendly just remember it is being run by teens so be nice to them.

I havn't been to a theater in the or more years because of uncomfortable seats. Decided to try avatar 3d and found they had reclining seats so we chose here. The seats are awesome and definitely help my back. I think this is the only way I'm going to a theater now. The girl that worked there was nice. Layered the butter on our popcorn perfectly!The downsides was the screen was a bit dark and not very vivid compared to when I went years ago at a theater in another city.Also thankfully we chose a time that wasn't really busy. The seats we chose didn't recline so we had to find other seats. Which then would be a problem because they get you to choose your seat when you pay (or when you pre buy online). So you have to either tell them you switch or hope when you do someone doesn't come in saying you're in their seat. Just have first come first serve as usual so you can move easily if needed. Or test seats regularly which I don't see happening because there isn't much staff.

This is the worst cineplex I have ever been. They don’t have shows for some of the great movies such as Transformers and Indiana Jones. Been there twice, they have small screens which is not worth the price like other cineplexes. Also, they have only 1 universal restroom available after 8-9 pm which has a line up.
